Kahvi Cafetiere Travel Mug/Coffee French Press/Tea Filter (Scuba Blue) in Stainless Steel

The media could not be loaded.  Got this and one other like it. Both had same reviews and dislikes. You only get half a cup.everything south of the filter stays there! And why does the filter only come half way to the bottom?I can understand it stopping a good 25mm to allow for the coffee etc! Well, I found filter works better after a few trial and error runs if the coffee you grind is Very Course and you "swill the cup around vigorously" will give you 1/4 more coffee! this won't work with fine grind coffee bean. I would give this 95% leak proof.. So, as an idea for a travel mug / cafetiere it's a concept that could be worked on! Both expensive and cheaper version worked just the same with the same filter length faults & clogging up. Very Course coffee bean is the way to go.. I had to buy a cheap blade blender to make this work,, all for two fingers more coffee

I bought this as a gift for my husband around 7 months ago. It started off so well - he loved the design and found it so handy for making coffee to travel to work. After a few months he started experiencing problems with the lid, it took a bit of time and effort to get the lid on and has gradually gotten worse. He has now had to stop using it. Such a shame, I think I just was unlucky because most other reviews are very good, so bearing in mind that he did love the mug, I might buy again and hope the next one lasts a bit longer.

I bought a Kahvi and I love it. It keeps drinks warm for hours, so I can make a coffee before I leave for work in the morning, take it with me and drink it when I have the chance. It's easy to use and looks great.I had one problem to start with - the seal stopped working for no apparent reason. I contacted Kahvi and they were really good about it - they got back to me quickly and sent me a new one straight away. I'm hoping this one lasts longer. Top marks for customer service at any rate.

So much better than the zyliss and bodum cafetière mugs I have. The plastic bodum was made of brittle plastic that broke within a couple of weeks. On the zyliss one water leaked into the vacuum and coffee grounds come up through the plunger.This is sturdy and the plunger is tight so don’t end up with a mouthful of coffee grounds with each sip.Excellent value for money.

I bought this for my boyfriend who loves a good coffee but could only have it at home. With this he can take it to work to enjoy. To be honest I was sceptical because I've never spent so much on something like this but after reading reviews I decided to go for it and choose this instead of a Bodum one. My partner usually complains that travel mugs never keep his coffee hot for long enough, and now I hear him say it's still too hot at lunchtime!It looks great, it's easy to clean, it's really sturdy.We did have a problem about 6 weeks after we bought it - there seemed to be a defect with the lid. I messaged the seller and within 2 hours they replied and they sent a new one out straight away. It was so refreshing to not have to feel like you need to argue your point when there is a problem. It genuinely is covered by a guarantee that they are happy to uphold.Great product great customer service :)

Just as good as a much more expensive dice version I have and I love the colour!

Bought two of these for my folks and they love them! Sturdy and well made. The clip bit that helps you pull up the plunger has fallen off my mum’s but it doesn’t make a huge difference. They use them for coffee and tea. They are best left to soak in washing up liquid if they have been used all day because the rubber bits can get stained. Would buy again, but hit and brownie points for me from my folks.
