Great palettes and a great size for me. I use 1, and if I need more, I add as needed.

I have used them for watercolor, gouache, and casein - they are nice and white and most importantly, my paints don't stain them.

These trays have a million uses. They are a great size for organizing office supplies or drawers. Perfect for painting. We have also lined them with parchment and used them for snack trays. There are a few blemishes and the paint is not smooth in the bottom of some of the trays. Overall a great deal.

2 out of 4 trays were chipped. Those areas will eventually start to rustIt wasn’t the packaging. Thatwas adequate. The items were damaged when packed.

I bought a tray from a different company that was very well made, strong enamel coating, etc. Then I purchased these. Totally different quality: the trays are thin, the enamel coating has many visual defects where it wasn't applied properly. I won't use this set for food serving--just don't trust it. I'm going back to RedCo for my butcher trays (if I can find them).

No, they're really not for serving food. Artists have been making off with butcher's trays for ages. I think we've been doing it for so long that butchers have given up on trying to keep them around for meat. These trays are the perfect size and they usually cost about 12 bucks a pop. This set is exactly what i need for a variety of projects. Bonus, butcher's trays clean a lot easier than wooden pallets!
