Handy little box size good quality good

I ordered these taking a bit of a punt. They are very light, so if you're expecting a heavy wooden box these won't do. I'm going to paint mine and then create a vintage look and put a picture inside the lid and pop a few little bits and pieces in them and give one to each of my bridesmaids (pinterest bride here......which is where I got the idea haha). For the money they are lovely. Perfect size I was looking for and easy to paint and customize. Would say they are great for children to paint and get arty for their own jewelry box or for something similar for what I'm doing.They are the same size as those jewelry boxes we used to get as children with the spinning ballerina.

The box is well made but from very lightweight wood, ideal for children’s crafts but not substantial enough to use on a regular basis. Having said that the price reflects this.

Light box. Dont expect heavy duty. Definitely worth the price you pay. Opens and closes well. Lid is square with the base.

Very light wood feels like balsa wood but does look okay.

Painted and decorated to make into Pirate treasure chest, then filled with all kinds of 'golden treasure.' Good sturdy wooden box.

Very beautiful. Ideal for what I need, box not been coated in anything so I am free to decorate and varnish as I please. Only worry is that it’s a little too light, I open the latch and feel that the lid is going to fly off! Nothing that can’t be sorted though. I look forward to using the box for crafts with my son
