Solid torch. Very bright. Definitely waterproof as I have tested it. Would buy again if I needed to.

Beam length far less than advertised
I bought this because of the long beam length advertised.I wanted a flashlight that would help me find the bouys in a creek when I return in my small yacht in the dark.I was extremely disappointed in the result. It did not have teh beam length to scan the water and pick out the bouys. I would say the beam length on high power is more like 50 metres. It came nowhere near meeting my expectations. I will now have to buy a new flashlight. On the plus side, it does seem a very robust torch.I thought it had a lifetime warranty like other Coast products, but on receipt realised it only had a 5 year warranty. So I'd recommend it unless you do actually need a long beam length in which case I suggest you look elsewhere.
