This is a beautiful journal; it far exceeded my expectations. It's excellent quality and I love the ten illustrated prints that are stored in a pocket at the front; I plan on framing my favourite ones. The way it is designed inspires creativity ... it's beautifully decorated with quotes and the pages are lovely quality. It has a nice thick elastic that keeps the journal closed which is just perfect. This would make a super gift for any Edgar Allan Poe fan, for any aspiring writer. I highly recommend this - get it, I promise you will not be disappointed!

It's nice but probably better for a younger person rather than as a gift for an adult.

Fair Quality Product but a Bit Disappointed for the Price.

I adore this journal! It comes with 10 beautiful full sized cards that are lovely enough to frame. It has lovely lavender lined paper with decorative scrolls, moons, trees & Ravens. Every few pages has a Poe quote or information about Poe in black ink. The journal is detachable from outer cover that holds the decorative cards as well. There is a substantial black elastic that closes the cover & keeps it all in place. I went to order more for friends but they are sold out. If you can get it, I highly suggest it however, be aware it is a little youthful but it is fun.

Sister loved it , this is nicer than it looks, and I am glad I bought it.

Gave as a gift and she was very pleased with it. The quote cards are good enough quality to frame if desired.
