I loved this book! I wish I could afford to buy a copy for every kid I see with a new diabetes diagnosis. This is a great reminder that kids are still kids and diabetes is a hurdle, and not the end of the race.This would make a great gift for a family with a young one one with diabetes or for libraries, doctor offices, etc!Check this out, you will not be disappointed. Beautiful illustrations as well!

Absolutely stunning illustrations! A must buy for any child in your life. Not only does this book offer a learning opportunity, but also provides an up beat, positive spin on a life long diagnosis. I bought several copies, even gifted one to my adult friend with type 1 DM; she loved it!

This is a great book for children with type 1 diabetes. The illustrations and content are so creative and important. It would also be great for endocrine doctors' offices so multiple kids could read it that have diabetes.

We received this today. Our son who is 5 loves it. It opened a whole new dialogue about how some kids have diabetes but it's ok. They are just as strong if not stronger than their peers.
