Most Comfortable Shoe Ever Made
After purchasing one pair of the Melvin loafer, and wearing it for about a month, I decided to purchase 5 more pair in various colors for wardrobe matching and as backups, since you never know when a manufacturer is going to cease making something that might be your favorite. Without question, this is the most comfortable shoe I have ever worn, and is in a style which goes well with extremely casual, all the way up to business casual. Very versatile look. The memory foam insoles are like walking on marshmallow pillows. They also provide great arch support (I have high arches) and are so light weight, you hardly realize you are wearing a shoe. Wow. My feet have never been so pampered. Can't begin to describe how sensational they feel. I have also purchased Skechers Go Walk which are close, in comfort but tend to run a bit smaller than standard. But they are not quite as comfy as the Melvin. There are also some other Relaxed Fit models, such as their "Dario", "Diamondback", and "Naven" models, which are close in comfort but not quite as much as the Melvin (but even at that, these other models are still far more comfortable than the majority of competing brands). Overall, Skechers has created some of the most comfortable casual shoes over the last 15 years, that I have ever experienced. Anytime I run across a new model in shoe stores, I always try them on and have rarely been disappointed with their extremely comfortable casual shoes. Although, I have not tried any of their sneakers or athletic shoes.

Most comfortable shoe I have ever owned
I'm a big guy with big wide feet. I always try and find EE or EEE shoes when I can. This shoe not only fits my dogs but my little piggies are not all scrunched up in a pile! The shoe is very light, perfect for traveling! Slips on and off easily, has a very comfortable memory foam insole that molds nicely to your feet. Good traction on wet surfaces. Nice double stitching looks like they will last a good long while. subtle colors match most casual wear as well as shorts and jeans. I bought both the Black/Grey as well as the Tanish version. I used to travel extensively as part of my job. These would have been a Godsend! Very lightweight but still sturdy and durable. Being made of a Canvas type material they repel rain for awhile but no worries, they dry quick. The only downside is this, the memory foam can be a bit warm, but if you are older or just have a cold foot problem that makes these an even better product for you. BUY em. That way Skechers will keep making em and I won't have to live the rest of my life with just these two pairs! When my feet get warm I just slip em off. I love being barefoot anyway.

Light, extremely comfortable, wear all day
If you're looking for a very light, breathable shoe you can wear all day with jeans or any other casual attire, this is your shoe. This is my second pair and they feel extraordinarily comfortable for the first couple of months. The "memory foam" will compress after a few months or many miles of walking so they don't last that long, but they are awesome until that happens. After the foam loses its loft they are still comfortable, but you have to be careful over rocks or other rough ground because the soles start to feel so thin you'll feel the terrain beneath your shoes. But it will take months of serious wear for this to happen, and when it does, the quality and comfort are high enough that you'll want to pick up a new pair. Look for them on sale for half of retail (which is what I paid) and buy two pair!

Comfortable, looks better than sneakers for office use, but not rain proof
Great shoes. Very comfortable but showing fraying after only a few months of use. I bought these on sale so I'm happy with my purchase, but if I spent more than $30 on them I'd be disappointed. They're cloth so I wouldn't wear them out in a rainstorm, or into any muddy areas because I doubt they'll clean up well. They feel like wearing slippers and the heel ledge area compresses quite a bit if you try to slip them on like slippers, so I can see the heel part bending over time. If you wear them every day I can see them looking a bit worse for wear after only a few months. They can pass pretty well in business casual work environments, they look nicer than sneakers but still look just a bit too casual for everyday office use. Tough to explain in this review but they tend to look a bit... too comfortable and thus cheap / "slipper ish" if you were to wear them at work. I wear them mostly with jeans on casual Fridays at work where they are very comfortable and look better than regular tennis shoes.

Best beaters I own!
I bought these YEARS ago! They are still holding up and still feel great wearing them. Best shoes that I really don't care about! I have every stain imaginable on them and could care less. They fit great and are perfect for running to the hardware store or date night with my wife. Everyone should own a pair!

Great Fit and Super Comfy
As much as my husband loves his Skechers Go Walk 2 shoes, he says these are even MORE comfortable for him. Who knew that was even possible? He wears a 9.5 and both styles of Skechers fit him perfectly. Actually, even though he's normally tightfisted when it comes to his clothes and shoes, he asked me to order him a second pair of these Melvin loafers just in case something happens to the first pair.We own a retail hardware store and he's always had painful feet at the end of the day from a combination of the concrete floors and his flat arches. But even if he's stuck putting in a 12 hour day, these Melvin loafers keep his feet pain free.

just ordered another pair
very comfortable shoes, light as a feather.going to buy another pair.UPDATE:I'm a big guy, 6'2" 250 #'sBroke my right ankle 3 times and had surgery on it to repair once. My feet seem to always hurt and I've learned to live with it. After wearing these shoes for a couple of days and after walking in them at a fair for a couple of hours I am amazed. My feet did not hurt at all. My right ankle, which always seems a little testy also had no pain. The last couple of summers I seem to have been wearing crocs all the time, These shoes have replaced my crocs forever.highly recommend
