I bought this as my previous trimmer died on me but I have had it for years. This one is slightly smaller and lighter which makes it easy to use. It came with batteries fully charged and I've only used it once so I haven't had to recharge it yet. It is easy to use and trims a lot closer than my previous trimmer. Braun tend to be good quality and that's one reason I chose this one. Just one thing the charger comes with a 2 pin plug so I had to buy an adapter (£8 from Amazon). So far very pleased with it.

I use this on my beard with the 'longer' comb. It works well, dialling in the fine adjustment for length is easy and removing/fitting the combs is equally easy.It's easy to use and achieves a reasonable looking finish.The only slight grumble is that it often leaves a few stray longer hairs (maybe that's just my beard) so I tend to comb through the same area 3 or 4 times.That said a quick single pass through the lot is good enough for a day in the office.If I were buying again - I'd possibly get one with a few more accessories to do fading at the edges and maybe shaving 'outside' the denser beard growth areas. But that isn't a fault with this device, just a lack of knowing exactly what I wanted at time of purchase.

Compact trimmer with two interchangeable guards for different beard lengths. Sharp cutters and quiet operation. This trimmer keeps my beard nice and tidy and stops me from looking like Catweazle, for which my wife is very grateful.

Stay away. Broke after 3 uses.Useless product.

If your are looking for a cheap shaver that works well this is the one for you..Very good price, cuts through thick stubble with ease, charge is good, easy to clean and adjustable settings.Only con is it can be messy to clean up as it sprays hairs around the sink but not much of an issue.

I bought the adaptor. It charged and seemed ok. BUT the on/off switch is extremely stiff. Both my son's tried it and found the same. I bought it to take to the nursing home where my husband lives and I just know that the carers will not have time to struggle switching it on, let alone use it.

Excellent product well worth the money.

Good. Very good adjustment and battery life. My only problem is the on/off switch is very stiff. Overall a good buy.
