Love the sweatshirt, the sleeves are a bit long. I would say it's a mid-weight.

Love this sweatshirt! Got the urban lilac color. It is 80% cotton, which works great for me (I prefer anything more than half, up to fully, cotton). It is comfy. I actually like that the neck is a nice snug crew neck. I prefer high necks whenever possible, and love crew necks, mock necks, turtlenecks. I like the cut as well. Comfy, loose fitting at the chest and shoulders, and cinches at the bottom and wrists. Perfect. Arms are nice and roomy too. Overall, satisfied. Durability seems average. Good for the price. Cute enough to wear out too.

I like good old-fashioned fleece-lined sweatshirts for casual wear with jeans, and they are perfect winter wear here in Florida. However, they are not easy to find in stores these days, and even online, most are crazy expensive. I decided to give this one a try because I have always liked Hanes products, and this did not disappoint. It is a pretty color, a very soft and warm fleece, and a terrific value. It fits true to size, perhaps somewhat large, but I haven't washed it yet, so maybe that is needed in case it shrinks some. It did shrink some in length after washing but I was able to stretch it out enough. I do wish it was longer, but it is what it is. My only other issue is that the upper sleeves are very roomy - too roomy for me - and makes the shirt look baggy. I wish they were more fitted. But if you have large upper arms, this is the shirt for you.

Ah, the comfort of a really good sweatshirt. Beautiful steely blue-gray color, and soft fabric. Just now got it, can’t wait to wear it! Update: I washed and dried my new sweatshirt on hot. The 80/20 cotton/poly blend didn’t shrink; perfect! I generally wear a ‘medium’ or ‘large’ but I ordered this sweatshirt in 2XL, because I wanted it to be easy to throw on without feeling constricted, be roomy, and feel like a warm ‘hug’ …which it does. I customized the neckline, reducing the trim at the neckline by half (stitching it under) for a flattering ‘boatneck’ and did the same with the hem. Basically elevating a $10 deal into an ‘upscale casual’ garment (like you’d find in an expensive ‘yoga’ clothing store), with a more ‘boxy’ fit rather from a regular sweatshirt. Also, my arms are long-ish, and I like ‘long sleeves’ to actually be long enough to go a bit past my wrists. Hanes sizing does that! I’m ‘allergic’ to synthetic fibers, but this Hanes 80/20 blend doesn’t bother me, and hurrah it also doesn’t shrink, and doesn’t seem to ‘pill’ either. The ‘fleece-like’ inside of this garment is soft on bare skin. In my experience, know that the sizing on this Hanes sweatshirt is true to size, without shrinkage in washing or drying. YES!!! to the consistent quality of Hanes!!

Runs extremely small! I’m usually a size small, got a medium because I wanted an oversized sweatshirt, and it’s so tiny it fits like an XS. Neck and sleeves are super tight, and it’s almost cropped it’s so short. I wish I got an XL, and I’ve never bought an L or XL in my life lol. The lilac is a pretty color though, I liked the color.

The sweater was delivered quickly, but was not 100% cotton as noted in the description. I ordered the urban lilac in size medium, it fits how I would expect a small or maybe even extra small to fit. For reference I am 5’6” 135 lbs and usually wear a small or medium, but I would need an extra large in this sizing. The neck opening is only 5 inches and the length it is very short/cropped. I haven’t even washed it yet, so I can’t imagine how small it will be once washed. Definitely returning!

Hanes fleece hoodies jackets and all are super comfortable so purchased this. Lavender color is just perfect and as mentioned comfortable. No doubt.

I love how this sweatshirt looks and fits - but the description is wrong: It's 80% cotton and 20% polyester, and not 100% cotton as it's described. I ordered both the Lilac and the White and neither are 100% cotton. I personally like the bat wing-styled sleeves as it gives it a different look from a unisex bland sweatshirt. The lilac color is attractive, and it's truly a good value for the money. It washes and dries (by machine) nicely without shrinkage (I did hang it to dry while still a little damp). Washing helps plump up the luscious fleece lining which makes it warm on the skin. I like that it's lightweight yet warm, making it a great item to pack along on trips.
