Barefoot Books A Hole in the Bottom of the Sea (Barefoot Books Singalongs)

Great book! The books comes with an audio CD and a also a short animation. The book can be read or sung to. The song is catchy and the children loved it. The animation is exactly as shown on the book. My child and preschool friends loved hearing the singing version while following the book as well as watching the animation. The last couple of pages of the book provides "real facts" on the universe. Great addition to our library! And we just found out our local library will also add this book to the collection.

I work with children every time i am doing the circle time for them they always tell me ,” Hole in bottom of the sea”. It’s one of the children's favorite book. I never regret buying this book online, as my children loved it very much. After playing the cd with them few time they are able to name the sea creatures in the pictures.

I used this book with the CD as part of my Ocean Unit with preschoolers and they loved it. The illustrations are beautiful and the song’s refrain is catchy.

This is a great song/book for the elementary music classroom! The book is great and there's a Youtube video of the song with animation that's really great. The kids love it and I love it, too! And I'm REALLY picky about good quality kids' music.

I'm a music teacher and sing this with my first grade students. They love this tune. It offers a great way to sing and discuss the food chain. The audio is performed very well and the enhanced CD is also available as a video on YouTube through Barefoot publications YouTube channel. I highly recommend this book, among others. *edit: after reading other reviews, I recommend that the kids sit along to the chorus. I sing the book to the kids without the audio and teach them a little about song form. Each verse gets longer and longer, and as a result it's a bit of a tongue twister. Having them sing just the chorus line keeps them listening and engaged.

My son's tutor uses this book for my 3-year-old's music class and he loves it! The good thing is the song is on YouTube so my son can listen to it whenever he wants.

I love everything about this book. The best part is it comes with the cd!! My older Toddler group 2 1/2 - 3 yrs. and I can’t help but dance every time we play it.

The whole series of this songwriting and illustrators were great, I like how at the end it gives you a bit more extra on the teaching information side. I have heard this song and seen it at my other daycare workplace, it was by accident that I saw it on amazon that prompted me to buy it, and again, it is a hit in my class. I bought 3 books in this series, I think I will order the other ones that I don't have. happy the company also includes the CD.
