WOODMAM Montessori Wooden Toy Activity Cube with Stacking and Sorting Board Montessori Learning Toy for Toddlers Baby from 18 Months

A birthday present for my granddaughter and she just loves it. Heads straight for it when she gets up.

I absolutely love this wooden activity cube as it embodies everything that I remember about toys in my childhood. I so much prefer these lovely wooden crafted toys instead of a lot of the plastic that we see so commonplace nowadays and ends up cracked or broken and bring chucked in the bin. This is absolutely not going to be like those! It feels such good quality, beautifully crafted and made and an excellent range of different activities and things to keep little ones entertained. I dont know why it's a cube as I think it has 6 sides so is more accurately a hexagon but anyway, each side has a different activity on such as cogs and gears, abacus beads, peek a boo doors with animals behind each one and so on. The colours and images are lovely. It even has a little mini train track on the lid which the magnetic trains can drive around on. You can then lift the lid off and turn it in on itself and store all of the pieces away inside it so that it is neat to put away and keeps all the bits together to save from getting lost. It is a high price point however I genuinely believe this would last for years and as a special present say for christmas or the like, it is worth every penny!

My grandaughter has been playing with this cube all week and loves it. It was alot smaller than I had thought but very solid and strong. Each side has a different activity and there are chunky shapes easy for small hands to hold, that slot into the shape sorting part. Small wooden vehicles can be pushed around the track ontop. The top part comes off easy to retrieve the shapes, my grandaughter can take it off and put it back on herself. She also stores her toys inside it. A great durable long lasting toy

Thought this would be a great toy for our grandson’s first birthday. It is a sturdy, decent sized toy but there were loads of deep scratches in the wood and paint. Really disappointed

I absolutely love this! Each side of the hexagon shape has a completely different skill to practice from an abacus to spinning numbers/animals to shapes. It just has it all, then to top it off there are two options to have on the top (apart from little trains that go round the edge). You can leave it as little nodules to move on the horseshoe shape, or you can turn it over to find a little farmyard themed set with people to move and sliders. That would be the only very slight annoyance I'd say. It would be great if that clicked into place but it doesn't so if my little boy leans on it it falls through the hole (only if its on the farm side- horseshoe side is perfectly stable). Just means I need to keep an eye on him when he's playing but that's a given anyway.Other than that however it's well designed, lovely colours, and timeless in my opinion. Absolutely 5 stars from me.
