Poor quality internal thread. I could not stop the water dripping despite plumbers tape. I would not recommend. Bought others in Speedex, problem solved.

3 rubber washers missing from the pack despite the packaging being well sealed.

I bought this to make connections to a hot water recirculating valve that has 1/2" FIP connections. The flat washers make perfect seals. No leaks. The 3/8" compression end worked perfectly with my 3/8" supply lines from the faucet. Overall everything worked just as needed. Price was very fair also.

Hard to find these at local hardware stores. When I did, cost was 3x the cost I bought this from on Amazon. Quality and fitting of these brass adapters is really good. No leaks after installation.
