This is a good quality catch can for the Ecoboost motor. I have catch cans on all three of my Fords and paid 2.5 times as much as this one. I was a little nervous about purchasing because of the price but was very impressed when I opened the box and saw the quality. Absolutely a very good buy and easy install.

Mounting arrangement is similar to that of the J&L for the Ram TRX. It’s much easier to reach than engine mounted ones in this tall truck. The downside is the long hoses and distance from the warm engine mean some added condensation in winter. Anyway, the can itself is very well made. Has a honeycomb type arrangement for “filtering out” the oil. A lot of the more expensive ones just use a chore boy type material. I like this setup better. Size of the can should allow some good mileage between emptying but in cold water check more frequently until you get a feel for it. Has factory style connections and installation takes no time at all.
