Worst Purchase Ever
The biggest purchase regret I’ve done for the last 7 years of Amazon shopping “Absolute garbage! This so-called 'Japanese' knife is a complete sham. It couldn't even slice through butter without chipping, let alone cutting meat! Save your money and buy a plastic butter knife instead. I've never been so disappointed with a purchase in my life. Zero stars if I could!"

Knife arrived with a completely dull edge
First off, I am a fan of the Mitsumoto Sakari knives, and was gradually filling up my magnetic stand with these great-looking – and sharp – products.Sadly, this paring knife was the exception. :( It did not have much of an edge to it, and I really do not want to research sharpening a brand-new knife (also while knowing it may never be as sharp as when it leaves the factory, assuming some decent QC process is in place for the product ordered, that is.)Compared to my other Mitsumoto Sakari knives this was so dull that you could basically slide it across your arm, and I therefore had no option but to return it.I hope the manufacturer takes these comments to heart. My primary reason for buying knives in this price range are their look & feel in the hand and their razor-sharpness (Mitsuomoto Sakari's Gyuto knive, for instance, is tremendous, and the reason I wanted to buy more of these to replace my existing kitchen knives)
