These lamp shade rings are going to enable me to replace the (not original, awful looking) lampshades for some vintage Marbro lamps that I have. These lamps are quite tall and it seems that current lamp shade fashion is for relatively short shades. I am not in the right tax bracket to order custom shades - so this way I can just make this happen (and then I don't have to hear complaints about the "ugly lamps" because the shades don't work adequately. I haven't completed my project but these lamp shade rings are precisely what I need. Construction on them looks fine, and the delivery was very timely.

I am a collector of older Bouillotte lamps; Baldwin, in particular. These lamps require a 7/8" o.d. spider washer for the lamp shade adjuster. Until I found these at Amazon, I had to depend on luck in finding the upper lampshade ring. The rings are of excellent quality.

It's ok. Just like the picture. The 'seams' are pretty rough though and snag on the cording I'm using. Also, the center piece is all scratched up.
