Alias Pro
It’s actually pretty good, much better microphone than I thought it would be. It sounds well enough to be used for podcasting or streaming maybe even voice acting for smaller gigs. It costs a hefty amount but the microphone is good quality so realistically it’s a good purchase if it’s on sale.

High quality audio
Very nice build quality, and it sounds amazing. Great upgrade from my old microphone, and the control box is very helpful for adjusting volume etc. without having to switch applications. The stand has some weight to it and is nice, but I prefer a boom arm. Comes with an adapter so it will screw onto most arms, which is great. Very satisfied with it, but I would recommend waiting until it goes on sale.

– Amazing Mic, Let Down by the Software
The Alias Pro microphone itself is fantastic — crystal clear audio, great build quality, and well worth the price if you're serious about sound. It easily competes with other high-end mics and has exceeded my expectations in terms of performance. That said, the SteelSeries GG software is a different story. It's bloated and intrusive. The "Sonar" feature keeps hijacking my default audio output every time I restart my PC, even after disabling it. It feels like I'm fighting the software just to use my own setup. To make things worse, the "Moments" feature seems to keep recording clips in the background, even when I’ve turned it off. There's no easy way to fully disable or rebind the default hotkeys, which is just bad design.Compared to Logitech's Blue mic software, which is lightweight and stays out of the way, SteelSeries GG feels overly aggressive. I wish the software was more modular and user-friendly — it drags down what is otherwise an incredible microphone. If you’re okay dealing with some frustrating software or are willing to spend time managing workarounds, this mic is a powerhouse. Just be aware that out of the box, it comes with software that might not respect your settings.

Noise Cancellation King: My SteelSeries Alias Experience
I hate headphones, so I have always preferred a mic. The noise cancellation is impressive. I typically listen to music at about 70 dB, and the mic hears me clearly. The software thoroughly filters out the music and ambient noise to the point that I hear nothing but my own voice. The build quality is sleek and modern, with just enough RGB to not be excessive. It is pretty much plug and play to set it up, so it is very easy to set up and use, plug in, and the software download is simple. I would say the mic itself isn't going to print out a symphony, but to normal ears like mine, it's better than enough to get the job done for a gamer. Overall, I got it for a discount of $150, which I think is a good price for it. Normal pricing seems worth it too, if you consider the extraordinary software that is free to download, you technically don't even need the hardware to use the software.

Very good option. Very crisp.
The quality of this microphone is amazing. I upgraded from a hyperx quadcast. And all of my friends agree that this mic sounds a lot more crisp. It's really easy to use, the setup is a USB cord that plugs right into the back. The steelseries app is very easy to use and it fits on the desk with no problem.

Not bad SS!
Have been using this mic for 2 days with 0 issues, so far.Friends say I sound better using this mic than I did using my $250 SteelSeries headset. May have to change the review in coming months but as of right now.. I’m totally loving it.

Several of these products are bad
With the Pro Kit, the mixer simply didn't work. It's been a minute since I returned it so I forget the exact thing that was happening, but the added complexity of the mixer instead of just using the microphone seemed to be the problem. Now, I just tried the boom arm. It seems like a massive design flaw to have a very tight spring at the middle joint to the point where you cannot tighten to screw at that joint to hold your adjustment in place because the spring won't allow it. It simply undoes your adjustment because the spring is pushing it open all the time. These products are expensive junk. With poor software to boot!
