4x2.5G + 2x10G unmanaged switch - works well
There weren't any reviews for this particular switch, so here you go.This switch is for those that need to convert a couple SFP+ 10G connections to a small number 2.5G or 1G RG45 connections, and are okay with an unmanaged switch. It's a good way to start experimenting with speeds beyond 1Gbps without spending too much.Construction is all metal, and it will take a few minor bumps without issue. It comes with a wall-wart style power supply for North American outlets, four rubber feet one can stick on, and an unhelpful quick start guide. This is an unmanaged switch so don't expect anything fancy. It does do what it is supposed to for a reasonably price (as far as these devices go). For my purposes, it's a win.I tested all the ports using iperf3 and they performed as expected. Testing from 2.5G to 2.5G (or to SFP-10G) I saw rates between 2.3 and 2.4Gbps; and going from SFP+ to SFP+, I saw rates around 9.4Gbps.Diving deeper....the switch passes VLAN tags just fine, even though it doesn't understand them. For SFP/SFP+ compatibility, I tried a generic 10G DAC cable, a generic SFP-10G-SR transceiver (coded as Intel), a generic SFP-10G-LR (coded as OEM), and a QSFPTEK SFP-1G RJ45 transceiver. All worked just fine. It supports both 1G SFP and 10G SFP+, and has an LED indicating which is detected. It has a small switch on the front labeled "Default or VLAN". This doesn't have anything to do with 802.1Q VLANs, this is a port isolation switch to prevent traffic between 2.5G ports. I did not test it, and most people will want to leave it at the default position. If this fits your needs, it's worth consideration. I'm happy with it so far.

Not sure about longevity, but works great with my four 2.5Gbe PoE+ Access Points
I have four 2.5Gbe POE+ Access Points around my house. I also have a small server rack, so I wanted a PoE+ Switch that was rack mountable. This has been working great for a few weeks now. My old Netgear non-rack POE+ web switch was ok, but it would occasionally disconnect or become unstable. I had the newest firmware for over a year, so it seems like development was no longer supported on the Netgear switch. This new Switch is Unmanaged and worked perfect the second I connected everything up.

Easy & Quick Setup
This switch was very easy to setup. I like the fact that it was unmanaged and I didn't have to mess with anything. I have a Mikrotik 4 Port SFP+ switch in my closet and this switch is at my desk. I ran an OM4 fiber cable to my desk using 2x 10G SFP+ connectors. The 2nd SFP+ port is using a 10G ethernet module which goes to my Mac Mini M1. The remaining 2.5G ports go to my gaming PC and other PCs in my office. I tested file transfers from my Synology NAS and I now have speeds between 200-900MB/s! This is a great switch if you want to run one computer with a 10G connection and 4x PCs with 2.5G connections.I can also see this switch being useful if you want to connect your 10G server and 10G NAS to multiple 2.5G connections. If you have two of these switches...you could theoretically connect two locations 400 meters or less with a 10G connection over OM4 fiber...that's pretty cool and very inexpensive!

Functional and easy to use switch
I bought this switch to boot my 2 access points from Ubiquity Unify. Wifi 6 and Wifi 6e require 2.5Gb/E POE but finding a switch which supports that with an SFP+ port is almost impossible. You can find some in the above $1k range and 2 x in the $400 range and 3 x in the below $200 range.Given that I only needed to boot 2 APs and connect to my Dream Machine, this switch for less than $200 was my second try. The first one did not work out but this was worked immediately. The reason I am giving this switch 4 stars is the lack of the LLDP standard. Without that the Unify dashboard does NOT show any Wifi Clients on the topology page. If you can live without that topology page, this switch is the most cost efficient way to get the full 2.5Gb/E speed to your access points without having to mess around with POE injectors supporting that speed and have a small switch doing this job for you and given that this is an unmanaged switch, it makes the installation a breeze. Background note: If you get a warning message in your Ubiquity environment that your access point does not perform at the highest speed and it suggests to replace the cable, look at your POE injector. The older models only support 10/100/1000 or 10/100. Using this switch solves this problem and you get the highest speed possible assuming you buy and use the proper network cable CAT6/7.

Great 2.5gb switch
Got this to update my home network to 2.5 and 10gb speeds. So far I have made the cable modem the slow point but still get 1404Mbps down on Xfinity (paying for 1200Mbps). file transfer between computers is now so fast its kinda funny.

2.5 g Ethernet PoE unmanaged switch
The switch functions well providing confirmed 2.5 g speeds and powers PoE devices adequately. But silent it is not. The description states it is silent (in one location it states it uses a fan, in another it describes it as fanless…) and names AV systems as a recommended application. The buzzing sound it makes can be heard above music playing in the same room to the point we need to turn the volume up louder than usual to drown it out. And if it’s within ear shot of where you sleep, it’s too loud to tolerate. It’s not usable. I’ll return and continue searching for an adequate solution.Update: after to speaking with Amazon support (an excellent customer service experience) they sent another switch (same model) which arrived the next day. It is just as loud and noisy as the first one. If silent operation is important to you, this is not the right choice. I’ll return the second one as well and try a different brand.
