Q: Does the "gold" eventually rub off the and necklace turn your skin green? If showered with?

I have a white gold plated, brass base metal bracelet I got on Amazon (not sure if Pavoli) 1 year ago... It DOES turn/ tarnish my skin... The brass does it... The plating seems ok; I use a soft cloth same used on sterling silver & it brings back the shine... I suggest not wearing while shower & don’t use oils/ lotions around neck as that seems to intensify tarnishing of jewelry and leaves black/ tarnish on skin... That’s my experience w/ plated brass jewelry. Hope this necklace doesn’t turn/ tarnish itself or my skin!

HI! We recommend taking your jewelry off when showering. Base metal Fashion Jewelry plated with real 14k gold will wear down quicker if it is exposed to water. You can obviously get it wet, we just recommend being cautious so it lasts longer!
