If you need this type of product, then these are the ones to get! I ordered a similar product that was cheaper and 10 ft long: it came folded up and would never have settled flat onto the stairs. It also smelled super toxic, a waste of resources in every way:( These treads arrived in a long skinny package, smell fine and have an excellent stick to them. They are just what the doctor ordered! Get these!

I applied these non-slip strips to my stairs because I believe safety is crucial, and it's important to promptly replace them if the edges show signs of wear. I've bought similar products before, but after over a year of use, they all lost their non-slip properties. This 5-pack rubber non-slip strips are quite thick, and their deep patterns provide effective slip resistance. I believe they will last for a long time.

I needed some kind of treads for a wood ladder that belongs to a bunk bed we have. The steps are a bit thin and can be slippery. But I wanted something that offered more safety than just some kind of sandpaper tape. Then I came across these. After measuring, these looked to fit the steps almost perfectly.The steps on the ladder are only 15 inches wide so I had to cut these to size. They cut very easily with a knife so if you also need to do so, it's no problem at all. They also supply a soft measuring tape to use which was a big plus. The adhesive is already attached so all you need to do is pull the tape off and apply when ready. They even made sure to put a strip on the shorter part as well which makes it extra secure after applying. They went on nicely and seem like they won't be going anywhere. As they get use, time will tell how well they stay, of course. But I am confident.The only thing I wish is that the dark brown color was on a black backing instead of grey. The solid black worked out well and still looks good but the grey seems like an odd choice to me. Otherwise, I'm very happy with these nosings.

The rubber is thick, with ridges on both the front and top, to give you a good grip, and it and seems like it will last through many more "ups and downs" in our historic house. I'm planning to use this particular set on our attic stairs, since a secure footing is particularly important when I'm carrying up boxes.I'm slightly skeptical of the longevity of the adhesive on any "stick-on" item, but I'm confident that the stair nosing will last a long time even if I need to re-glue it.
