As a new mom, I didn’t realize how much peace of mind a good security camera could bring until I got the Arlo wireless camera. I was constantly worried about every little sound or knock at the door, especially during late-night feedings. Having this camera has honestly helped ease so much of that anxiety.I love that it’s battery operated and doesn’t need to be plugged in all the time. We’ve had it up for over a month now, and I’ve only had to charge it once. Setup was simple, no wires or drilling, which was a huge plus since we rent.The video quality is super clear, even at night, which is when I usually check it the most. I get notifications right away if someone is near our door, which is great for keeping an eye on deliveries or unexpected visitors without having to run to the door with a baby in my arms.Honestly, it’s just one of those things I didn’t know I needed until I had it.

The most difficult part was finding a stable ladder. I have never installed cameras, but I installed 3 myself. Make sure you sync them (button on top of cameras) before you get on the ladder. Mine didn't need recharging but I was thinking about that issue when I was on the ladder. Camera very easy to remove from the base. Just push the camera up to remove if you have to recharge it. Also Amazon sells the extension cord for the future when you want to charge the battery and don't want to take down the cameras. I can see the camera feed on my phone. They stay on the phone. I can share the video. No monthly subscription for the cameras 😊😊. I can monitor the property myself.😊. I am purchasing 3 more.

It's a decent choice for home security with a few pros and cons. We wanted a camera in our backyard to check in on our dogs and from where we mounted the camera, we can see 90% of it which is great. The quality is also very good. The video is crisp and clear. It was easy to install, and the app is easy to use. However, some features are locked behind a monthly membership. Considering the price of the camera I find this annoying. I feel like the battery life isn't incredibly long and so it requires quite a lot of charging. Especially considering where we mounted it, this is kind of a pain. Overall, it's a good camera with a few drawbacks.
