Low priced bi-metal with great performance
This is the lowest priced bi-metal yoyo I have, but you'd never guess it by the performance. This is a really good yoyo, and as a first bi-metal, you might want to consider this.First, I chose the grey because I like the color but they did have a lot of amazing colors. I was going to get the pink but I didn't like the color treatment done to the rim. The blues looked amazing. That being said, the colors were perfect with no flaws. The surface has a light blast treatment, the rims are well fitted and I do appreciate the etching to display the model and brand. I know some companies don't do this or don't consistently do this, but it is a feature I like, especially when one has a growing collection.Spinning, this is fairly smooth. It does well on the thumbnail test. It's not perfect, but it's way above what the yoyo costs. While playing, the bearing started to get loud as is normal when they start to break in. That goes away after a couple of hours, but a tiny droplet of lube often helps here too. Finger grinds are nice, but arm grinds not so much on skin but are good on most sleeves. Thumb grinds slow down quickly, but that could be a me issue. Yoyo does not want to go horizontal on thumb grinds, but is stable, so DNA tricks will require pre-correction. DNA isn't the best trick on this yoyo due to the slightly raised center area, but could be done. Horizontal play is stable. I was having issues with more high-risk binds because the response pads were just not broken in enough. A white pad or flowable silicone would take care of that, or even a thicker or stiffer string. I did nail them, it just took a bit more work than normal.Bearing is a fairly nice concave bearing. This yoyo does NOT include a responsive bearing or a puller and does not include an axle wrench, so this is an "out of the box" unresponsive yoyo, so be aware of that. I play unresponsive so for me it's fine. Pads are a clear pad, appears to be a 19mm OD slim pad(YYF standard) and can take flowable silicone.YoYo comes in a nice padded holder, with a glove and 10 strings individually wrapped. I like these holders. Strings are nothing special but you do get 10 of them, which is nice. I don't use gloves, but a lot of players do. Those of you who do fast Eli Hops have experienced string burn so yeah, gloves help prevent that. The entire package is just really player-oriented. This yoyo seems more 1A oriented, but would also be good for 5A. It could do 3A as well. This is my second yoyo by HKSOD. I've been consistently happy with them. I can't wait to see what they may release next.

Impressed by this yoyo
The media could not be loaded. I’m really impressed by this bimetal yoyo. It really plays like a way more expensive yoyo, this price really is a bargain for what it delivers. For being bimetal, you get that nice extra stability with the weight on the rims. I am used to large yoyos, but even this one being regular size, it was something that didn’t bother me at all, because it’s so comfortable that I started enjoying it right away. So it should please every kind of player, no matter the age.It feels really nice on the hand, fitting perfectly well on the fingers. You can do anything with this yoyo, from beginner tricks to advanced competition combos. It’s unresponsive, so naturally you need to know how to bind to play. The yoyo is smooth and has no vibes at all, plays really great. It also impressed me how powerful it is, even after a few tricks I still get it back to my hand with a lot of power, so you get a great spin time out of it.I do recommend this one if you’re looking for a bimetal yoyo, amazing performance for a great price!

Excellent Bimetal Yoyo
I was skeptical because the price was so cheap but this yoyo is awesome. The ano and rings turned out amazing. You can't beat this price for a bimetal yoyo. Its also dead smooth and stable.

Plays great!
The bimetal part is a joke but regardless this throw plays better then some of the top brands. If you don't have one of these in your collection then you are missing out.

I love the yoyo
But it's better than I am I'm65 years old and it is the first yoyo I haven't been able to get to return to my hand it spins great but it spins so good it won't wind its self up yet I will get it to u can't complain because it will spin longer than any of the other 500 or so that I already have so thank you very much

Very low quality.
The strings broke very shortly after light use.

My kind of yoyo!
The media could not be loaded. I LOVE this yoyo. Just to let you know that everyone has a different preference with yoyos by the way it feels during play. My preference tends to lean on rim weight distribution and this one really kicks! This is an unresponsive yoyo so you'll need to learn a trick called bind in order for the yoyo to come back to your hand. This predator 3 isn't the widest of yoyos, it's around the same width as the YYF Shutter but this yoyo sleeps forever making long combos or trying to learn new tricks a bit easier. It's ok for horizontals and doesn't feature a finger spin cup but you're still able to do them and with the blasted finish on the body. It glides really easily on the skin. Except when the stainless steel rims touches your skin. A wonderful yoyo!
