Brilliant
All round great laptop. Easy to set up and it’s so fast. Only downside though is the start up time. Once you press the power button it takes a little bit to long to load up. But still happy with it

A quality laptop
I've dropped one star because the description is inaccurate - the keyboard isn't backlit, at least not on the model with an i7 processor. Also, battery life could be a bit better, but it's pretty decent. Otherwise, I'm really pleased with this laptop after using it for a few months. The setup was very easy, and tailoring it to my tastes was simple to do. My work laptop is a premium HP model, but this Dell laptop does extremely well in terms of its speed by comparison, and the screen is really good. For the given specs at this price, this is a model I'd recommend.

What a great budget laptop
I was nearly put off by some of the reviews. Glad I ignored to see for myself. Caveat..this is not a powerhouse of a laptop. If you want to game or do heavy dtp get something else. If however you want to surf the net, use office, email and watch YouTube/ netflix etc.. this has a cracker of a hd screen. Decent audio. Nice keyboard and it's so lovely amd quiet. When the fans kick on its a gentle whisper. Good connectivity with numerous ports but again not the fastest transfer rates. Someone said there are no lights when charging, there is on the external power supply. You can also check the status on windows. I have been very pleasantly surprised by this machine. The only thing I'm unsure of is the hinge when open become the front feet while on a desk. I have never seen this before so unsure if that will increase wear with age. So only time will tell with that. I'm delighted and would say for an average user this will suit a lit of people. 💯 % would recommend to friends and family.

Poor quality and nightmare keyboard.
I wish I had returned this PC the day after It arrived. The keyboard is a joke. (I've had to type the word 'joke' 3 times, as the 'o' key is intermittent, leaving me me with the word 'jke' before a successful 3rd attempt). The keys are cheap and nasty, as they have no decent 'feel' to them. There is no tactile feedback to let you know that you have successfully hit the key.As a consequence of this, I find myself hitting the keys hard, in order to give me reassurance. So, if you're a good typist - FORGET IT. Your skills are wasted on this laptop. (The letter 'o' failed 3 times in that last sentence by the way).I thought at first it was just me getting used to a replacement laptop, so I persevered for a few weeks.I now find that I can't return it, as I've had it longer than a month.I think I'll just give this £500 computer to charity or a local school. (Letter 'o' failed twice in this line).NOT HAPPY.

Faulty device
After turning the laptop on maybe 2-3 times, it developed a fault and was flicking to black screen and beeping, the laptop fan would then go incredibly loud at random (I've never heard such a loud fan!). There were also scratches on the top so I think it was a return I received.I had high hopes for this laptop as I use a Dell for work but this was nowhere near the same.If it wasn't faulty I'd say:Pros: decent speed, good screen size.Cons: keyboard feels cheap, not backlit.

Lap top
Replaced my old slow windows 10. It did go faulty after 3 months, but after care service very good, repaired, returned very quickly, and informed every step of the esy
