A must for working in the yard and garden
I have had a pair of these gloves for several years and finally wore out the finger tips using them for weeding and other similar tasks in the yard. So, I was looking for the same kind of glove since I could not find my original source. Bingo! These turned out to be exactly the same as my old ones. So, here is what I like about these particular gloves which are used exclusively out side in my yard and garden... Pros: - I hate the standard garden gloves that you get in the home improvement stores. They are stiff and bulky and make it hard to pull weeds or dig around in the dirt of the garden. These gloves are very flexible and light and it is almost like using your bare hand picking weeds and digging around in the dirt. - These gloves seem to shed dirt easily. I have been out working in the yard after a rain and the ground is wet and the dirt is muddy. The gloves get covered with muck. After they are dried out, the dirt/muck dislodges easily. Plus, you can run a hose over them, let them sit out to dry on your deck and they are good as new. - When digging around in the garden, I frequently run into spiders and other biting or stinging bugs. These gloves protect me from getting nasty bites. - I am a tall 6'-2" and weigh around 200 pounds. I have slim hands and long fingers. The XL size fits me perfectly - "like a glove," so to speak. - Every year, the dang Japanese beetles invade the yard and garden. I hate spraying chemicals in my garden, so I used to walk around looking for them and grab the ones I could find and squash them between my fingers to reduce the world of at least a few of these irritating buggers. Then, I would have beetle goo all over my hands and have to wash them frequently. Who knows what diseases those things carry? These gloves make the job real easy. When I see a bad beetle on the leaf of my blackberry bushes (or a group of them), I either knock the whole group into the open hand with the gloves on and squeeze the daylights out of the beetles, or if there is only one, I can grab it between 2 fingers and squeeze it flat. The flexibility of these gloves make it easy for unpleasant asks like this, and I can feel that I have the bug where I want it and feel it flattening out to my great satisfaction. And when I am exhausted after squashing all those beetles, I can take my clean hands out of the gloves, give the gloves a spray with the hose, let them dry and they are good for the next task. Cons: - I really have no cons for these. The last pair I had lasted for over 2 years from almost daily use from Spring into Fall and only the finger tips of the right hand one wore small holes from pulling weeds. I still use that pair depending on what I am doing and don't care if my finger tips get a little dirty. - If you are working around thorny bushes, like gooseberries or raspberries, you might feel some thorn points get through the mesh. But certainly not as bad as having nothing to protect your hands. Bottom line - I have never cut myself while using these gloves. Sometimes my twig clippers get too close to a finger holding a branch I am cutting, but the gloves have protected me from getting cut and I may only get a bad pinch which reminds me to be more careful. I love these gloves and could not imagine not having them when I am out working in my yard. They have spoiled me from using any other type of garden glove.

Great for heavy outdoor work!!!
I bought two pair of these gloves. One set for the kitchen (they work great) and another for outdoor applications. I used these gloves to handle cement roof tiles and they worked perfectly. Absolutely no sign of any wear on them at all after 4 days of use! I had previously used heavy duty gardening gloves but the fingers wore through quickly. These gloves helped grip the tile while protecting my hands. Just threw them in the washer & dryer after each use and they were ready for another round of roof repairs! Would absolutely recommend this product.

Finger saver!
These gloves are great for scaling fish, they give u a great grip and stops your hands from sliding off them slimy fish. Just yesterday my daughter was slicing some apples for apple pie. She unfortunately sliced her finger using the mandolin and I remembered these gloves. She loves them more so than I do! The only con is that I'm not too crazy that it takes long to dry and also, after a few uses, it got a small hole on top of the pinky finger. Other than that, everyone should have this in their kitchen!

Don’t try this at home
They are light duty only...... Not heavy duty, I’m not sure what kind of knife they used in the picture, this was done with a very basic kitchen knife from Sysco

nice size
They arrived just yesterday and I was pleasantly surprised with the size. They fit on my very large hands. They come as XL. I don't think I'll be using them too often but it's a nice thing to have.
