If you are purchasing in the UK, this bidet seat is not compatible. Having put 240v though it you get a loud explosive bang and a bright flash of light. Obviously the unit is then rendered obsolete. This seat operates on 110v and not 240v. I have no idea as to how good the functions are as it didn't like 240v coursing through it's circuitry. I also have no idea why the advert doesn't make clear that this is a 110v unit and not suitable for the UK but is available on Amazon UK. The voltage label is not fixed to the unit on the supply cable side, but on the water inlet side of the unit and was not seen by my plumber/electrician until the unit was connected to the mains electricity supply and the catastrophic death of the unit.
