⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A Symphony in White—The Ultimate Soundbar Experience
Why did you pick this product vs others?: Let me be blunt: the Bose Smart Ultra Soundbar in White is not a soundbar. It’s a statement piece, an audio flex, and—if you’re like me—a borderline obsession. ✅ Why This Soundbar is in a League of Its Own: • Dolby Atmos Performance: The immersive surround is otherworldly. Movies, music, even YouTube—everything sounds like you upgraded to a private cinema. You feel the detail in the air, not just blasting at you from the front. • Voice Clarity that’s Unreal: Dialogue Mode and the custom-tuned center channel make speech perfectly crisp, even when explosions are happening in the background. No more riding the remote volume button. • Pure Aesthetic Pleasure: The white finish is chef’s kiss. Modern, bright, and impossibly elegant. It doesn’t just disappear under your TV—it elevates the entire space. I’ve had more than one guest say, “Wait, that’s a Bose?” • Smart Features that Actually Work: Alexa and Google Assistant built in, AirPlay 2 support, and seamless integration with Bose Music App. No clunky setups or lag—just instant connectivity. ✅ Pro Tips for Peak Experience: • Pair it with the Bose Bass Module 700 and Bose Surround Speakers 700—trust me, you’ll never look back. The low end will shake your soul in the best way. • Use Dialogue Mode for streaming and late-night sessions. It keeps vocals crisp without waking up the entire house. • If you can, mount it just below eye level for that floating, gallery-like presentation. ✅ Why It’s 5 Stars—No Debate: • White colorway: stunning and rare in a sea of black rectangles • Unmatched clarity and warmth in every frequency • Rock-solid build that feels premium the moment you unbox it • A setup so clean it looks pulled from an Architectural Digest spread Bottom line: If you want luxury sound that feels as good as it looks, this is the bar to own. 5 stars—Bose proves yet again why they’re the standard everyone else is chasing.

Phenomenal Sound and Easy Setup
The Bose Smart Ultra Soudbar is beautifully built and finished. Though compact, it provides phenomenal sound quality. Let me tell you, the setup was so simple - it took a single cable to hook to the television! There is a remote control that covers the basics, including powering the bar on and off, adjusting the volume, playing and pausing content, and selecting your input. After I put the soundbar in position and connected to the TV with power, I downloaded the "Bose Music Control" app, which is free for iOS and Android. This app gives you control of the soundbar and puts you in charge of the Adaptiq automatic room calibration system. The Smart Ultra Soundbar is compatible with Amazon Alexa and works with Google assistant if the appropriate smart speaker is on a common network. I didn't explore integrating the other Bost speakers, but it appears to be possible. There is a touch control on the top surface of the soundbar if you want to override the integrated microphone. If you leave the voice enabled, it is quick and easy to get what you want from the Bose simply by just asking. I'd say that I was impressed by the reliability of responses to my request. Apple AirPlay2 is available and Chromcast is built in. Also, you don't have to toggle to use the voice feature. The system essentially calibrates itself to your environment quickly and accurately and has plenty of control options. When it comes to sound quality, immediately the sound is very clear and reasonably balanced. We are audiophiles (record collection, love movies, amateur music room in home) and while dialogue enhancement and bass features are both available, I didn't need to use right away. I believe this is due to the True Space feature. It was hard to believe that such dynamic sound came from the compact soundbar, but I've had the Bose CD system for years. The spatial audio that comes from the bar is impressive. I didn't notice a significant difference in space and height of the sound, which was a concern initially after reading other reviews. You can utilize HDMI, ARC and wireless Bluetooth connections. Be prepared to have everything you watch feel like you're in an enhanced movie type of setting. One of my kids was playing the game while the soundbar was on. I was absolutely and thoroughly entrenched with the effects and he was thoroughly surprised that I had interest. It was the Bose sound. The unit comes at a reasonable price, especially considering it feels like you're on a quality soundstage. The package was delivered to my office and I was able to carry it. It fit across the backseat of my vehicle and set-up was easy.

Amazing Natural Room Filling Sound
I have upgraded from Bose 600 Soundbar for my TV hence installation was a breeze. Install Bose Music app to setup the Soundbar. Bose 600 Soundbar is already an amazing soundbar and this soundbar fills the gaps in the room with louder sound in more spots. Pros: 1) Bose devices can connect to each other wirelessly which is useful for playing same music in multiple rooms or to have a personal experience on a device like your Bose Headset for the same content. 2) The sound is loud enough for any size room and will definitely fill the entire room with sound. Lot of times you will be confused whether someone is really ringing bell or the sound is coming from the soundbar, its that real. 3) AdaptIQ makes the job of tuning your soundbar to your room and your situation (furniture etc blocking the sound) seamless. There is an option to disable AdaptIQ if required. 4) Like Bose 600 you can integrate TV and Soundbar control through HDMI ARC connection using a single remote. Typically I don’t use Bose Soundbar remote at all. 5) Also like Bose 600 you can control Bass, Treble, Center/Height Chanel, group multiple devices, add audio delay, select source, power on/off, update firmware, enable/disable many setting including Voice Control/Chromecast through the Bose Music app. 6) Premium look and feel and heavier than Bose 600. 7) Wireless option to add rear speakers and bass module. 8) Support for Voice control like Google/Alexa, cast audio from phone/laptop using Bluetooth or Wifi. Dolby Atmos and Upfiring speaker which help with situation like Rain fall will feel like its raining in the room. AI DIalogue mode are some of the great features. What I wish for: 1) Soundbar (atleast for 900/Ultra) should be sold with the Bass Module as that really completes the thunderous sound experience as this product is primarily for larger rooms. 2) This is the first time that it took me more time to put the power cord on the back of the soundbar. Not sure whether the power cord I received was the right fit for the socket. 3) Switching/Changing wifi is a pain when it doesn’t work in the first attempt although there are detailed videos on Youtube from Bose with instructions. Something as simple as a tiny wifi reset button on the soundbar would help.

Great audio quality. Lame configuration process.
Update: It’s past the return window, and I have to sell this now to recoup some of the cost. I just can’t get a reliable connection to the sound bar. All connection options have been exhausted, and it’s just frustrating the family that I’m the only one that can diagnose the issue. It can take several minutes after turning it on to make it work. Original review: The audio quality is great. It comes with a headset to adapt the sound to your room environment, which is great. There is just one main jarring problem. It has a horrendous process for setting it up. You can not plug it into your TV and have it will magically work. You must use your phone to set it up with bluetooth. You must register the device. You must set up a Bose account, and accept their terms of use/privacy. You must connect the speaker to the Internet (fortunately it does have Ethernet). By default, it didn't automatically turn on when the TV provides ARC functionality through HDMI (I had to adjust a setting in the app to make that work). The provided remote is pointless when the functionality is primarily expected to be used through the app, which makes it hard to diagnose audio connection issues for family members that don't have access to your phone. Bose, your speaker has 1 job to do! Be a reliable speaker, and it's trying its hardest to not be a simple speaker. It doesn't need to stream music because I have an app for that. I don't need it to be a digital assistant and listen to me through a microphone. I appreciate the sound quality and the ability to use a reliable wired subwoofer connection with a standard 3.5mm cable. I appreciate the room calibration process. I appreciate the easy to clean audio grill (not hard to dust fabric). I can live with configuring through bluetooth, if it didn't also require an internet connection. Everything else is superfluous that gets in the way of enjoying great sound in a family home. This speaker seems to be built more for a tech-bro bachelor that doesn't share a family TV.

Bose soundbar
The good: great sound that doesn't require many speakers and speaker wire. The bad: the ARC sync goes haywire sometimes between the TV and the soundbar. The soundbar loses the sound then assumes the TV is off. It shuts off and after a few minutes of being without sound. Sometimes it shuts off the TV, too. If I use its remote power button to cut it back on and the TV is still on, it shuts off the TV. Whenever this happens, I power off everything at the surge strip then power the surge strip back on and everything is back in sync. It isn’t a daily problem but happens about once every 2-3 weeks. I’m going to add a second surge strip just for it so me DVR, Apple TV, TV, and DVD player don’t all have to reboot. Despite the problems, it was the best solution for me and the sound is great.

Simple Audio Pleasure
Getting Started: Setting up the Bose Smart Ultra Soundbar is a breeze. Just plug it in, connect it to the TV, and you're good to go! I also did a software update within the Bose Music app, but I'm not sure if that's essential for getting started. Once I set the audio output to the soundbar, the magic began. The difference was immediate as the music I was playing switched from my TV speakers to the soundbar. Sound Quality: This is, without a doubt, one of the best soundbars I've ever heard. The A.I. Dialogue Mode is fantastic, ensuring movie dialogues are crystal clear, even during intense action sequences. The ADAPTiQ feature, which adjusts to room acoustics, adds depth and richness to the sound. While sound localization is effective, it's limited by its front-facing position. However, the soundbar shines with 5.1 or Atmos content, offering an immersive experience. I haven't tested it with a dedicated sub and rears, but I imagine that would enhance the experience even more. Connectivity: This soundbar is super versatile. Whether it's eARC, optical, Bluetooth, Chromecast, or Airplay, it connects seamlessly with various devices. If you've had sync issues with other soundbars, you'll be glad to know I didn't have any with this one. Here's hoping the glitch-free experience continues. Features: Among its features, SimpleSync is my top pick. While not unique to this model, it lets you pair Bose headphones with the soundbar instantly - perfect for when others need some quiet. ADAPTiQ, though also not exclusive, is key to get the most out of this device. The standout new feature is the A.I. Dialogue Mode. I'm usually wary of A.I. labels used for marketing, but here, it genuinely delivers. Verdict: If you have a Bose 900 series, this might not feel like a huge leap. But if you're new to high-end soundbars or have an older, mid-range one, the Bose Smart Ultra Soundbar is worth checking out. It combines a sleek design with impressive audio, making it a top choice for modern home theaters.

Ummm, yeah -- this soundbar is AWESOME!
I've had different surround systems over the years and really appreciate good, immersive audio. The one thing I haven't really appreciated is the bulky reality of multiple large speakers all around the room that, while delivering great sound, can also be eyesores in the interior design. Hence the search for a higher-end soundbar that could be low profile so it blends with the decor, while still offering top-notch audio features, especially one of the modern pinnacles of sound tech, Dolby Atmos. Bose has always been at the top of my list and this new soundbar certainly keeps the brand at the top in my book! The sound is simply amazing, and all put together in an eye-pleasing, low-profile form factor that accents other audio-video pieces, but doesn't take over with box-like "trip hazards" in a small-space, home-theater room. Key benefits that I wanted in a soundbar and how the Bose Smart Ultra Soundbar delivered: • Immersive audio in a low-profile package: The Bose Smart Ultra really came through here. Its TrueSpace tech creates the multi-channel experience even more than others I've compared with multiple satellite speakers! I do plan on adding the Bose Base unit and may add the Bose rear speakers to this system for even more surround sound (I really like the low-profile design of the rear speakers!) • Dolby Atmos: This tech was a must-have in my search for a soundbar, and Bose checked that box for me from the get-go! • Super easy connection: While I am kind of a techie and don't mind more complicated set-up, especially with high-end, quality tech enhancements, I really liked that this Bose soundbar was really easy to set up and get to the reason I wanted higher-quality sound to begin with: enjoying the home theater! • Enhanced dialogue mode: Because a lot of cinematographers are mixing sound differently these days to take advantage of the immersive sound systems available, both for cinema and home-theater environments, without a sound system with a feature like Bose's A.I. Dialogue mode, words (and story) can get lost amongst the other robust sound design of a movie or show. Dolby Atmos helps define the dialogue for sure, and Bose's A.I. Dialogue Mode helps to define voices so that the dialogue is more discernible (and I don't have to turn on the annoying subtitles)! I definitely recommend this soundbar and will be telling more than a few friends!

Not a great value! For sure.
Sounds great when it works. Ours frequently disconnects for whatever reason and requires that we disconnect the power to get it back on. It requires turn on every time we turn on the TV even though it is attached to the TV. The remote is required and usually turns it right on, but not aways. It fails when you are in a hurry. I would not purchase this again and recommend you look elsewhere. What you chose will likely be better and save you some cash. Bose isn't your grandfather's Bose.
