I have used many different gray coverage products over the past couple of years. The eSalon Conceal and Cover Root Touch Up powder works great. I use this daily when I have grow out and in between colors. The brush applicator is easy to use and allow me to touch up grays around the face line without leaving color on my skin. The brush has two sizes the larger brush is perfect for my part line and the smaller side I use for my eyebrows. I would definitely recommend this product.

The product that arrived was crumbled into a dusty powder that was no longer in the compact and had spread into and all over the case. This could not be salvaged and had to be thrown away. I would definitely NOT RECOMMEND THIS ITEM.

I have been using another product like this, but esalon works 10 times better and is a better color match.

The powder goes on smoothly with the provided brush. It is not heavy yet offers great coverage for my grays in between full color applications. Also, when I wear my hair in a ponytail, I’ve been using it to cover thinning areas around the hairline so it looks fuller - great hair hack!! Highly recommend.

Where do I start? First, the coloring powder block was broken when I received it, so there was powder all over the inside and outside of the box, and on my hands after I opened it. I can let that pass because perhaps it was poor handling. But I also found that it took a lot of powder to cover the grey, and even with a lot, it wasn't 100% coverage. And it made my hair feel really thick and gloppy. When I ran my fingers through my hair, the black tint wiped off onto my fingers. You can see what a quick tissue swipe along my temple did. I was worried to hug anyone or put my head on my pillow because I was so sure I'd leave stains everywhere, so I just washed it out.

My wife is quite disappointed in this product, mostly because of the steep price which is $30 as of this writing.So this is a small powder. The packaging looks promising, but there is just so little powder there! The brush seems okay but every time she wants to grab it from its place, it is so tightly set in its place, she has to use tweezers or scissors to pry it out!! That is unacceptable.The powder (medium brunette) matches her hair color pretty good, but it takes so much powder to cover her greys. If she were to do this every day, she isn't sure she would have anything left at the end of a month's use (in this case it would be just cheaper to simply buy a dye and color her hair for real).So this powder does cover her greys somewhat (not entirely), but of course by the end of the day, when she takes a shower, the powder washes off.In closing, this powder is easy to use (after she is able to pry the brush off the carton....), and it does work somewhat, but it is a very expensive item. There must be other products that have a better value for what they are!
