Awesome gluten free pasta
Our favorite gluten free pasta. No one will ever know the difference. I will never buy another brand again. This pasta doesn’t break down and turn to mush like so many other gluten free pasta brands.

The Real Deal
No worries with cross contamination of gluten with these. I've eaten this for years with no problem whatsoever, and I'm super sensitive. The flavor is just like regular pasta. So glad this is on the market, otherwise I'd be up a creek because I've reacted to every other option out there that I've tried because of cross contamination. Not these. Perfect! I buy it by the case to always have it on hand.

Finally
We were using Ancient Harvest and was perfectly happy until they changed something.....I don't know what it was but have learned when I ordered it, if it didn't arrive with the contents in the box packaged in a clear wrapping, it was the new version. Very disappointing. I only mention this if you are trying the Andean for the first time, went looking for another because you experienced the same thing with Ancient.Actually, we were combining the Ancient with the Riso....the Riso breaks easily whereas the Ancient did not UNTIL they changed the ingredients. Why they did that? Who knows but it was a Huge mistake on their part.....at any rate....THIS is even BETTER than Ancient's original recipe! Oh my goodness....if we had found this first, we never would have had to try the other. I cooked it up tonight for the first time, held my breath, hoped for the best, and was thrilled when the reviews I read from others were TRUE! Why am I so excited??? Our son has Down's......he ONLY eats spaghetti....ONLY! When we found out last August that he was gluten intolerant, my heart sank for him.....we dashed off to the grocery store, brought home every kind of gluten free pasta we could find.....ugh....went looking online and read that Riso and Ancient were the best. They were! Until Ancient changed their ingredients.I have to add that Andean is better than the Riso but due to the cost.....I'll continue to order the Riso and mix it in with the Andean to stretch the dollars.at any rate......this is by far the best and closest to wheat pasta we have found.....actually, I don't mind eating it and that's saying a lot.....the others made me gag a bit, probably my mind making too much of it but this truly is good.....my homemade sauce tastes like it use to.......my heart isn't aching for my boy anymore......what a huge blessing.....the cost isn't a blessing.....it is more but our son is worth it. I just hope they keep it the way it is....DON'T mess with a good thing or I'll have to go looking again. Please don't make me do that......please!

This tastes great!
I was in Whole Foods. A man suggested these. The taste is excellent. Best part is it doesn’t fall apart as leftovers the next day.

The Only Pasta I Will Buy and Better Than Non-GF Products (IMHO)
I became gluten intolerant in my early 40's when GMO products first hit the market years ago. I'm now allergic to soy, barley, buckwheat, oats and rye with sensitivities to other grains like corn unless they are truly organic. Since my diagnosis I've had to try every food product under the sun to find processed alternatives I was used to eating. In the noodle category I can emphatically state that this is the best one I've found in the last 8 years, and when cooked properly I'd put it up against any non-GF competitor in quality, taste and texture. The secret is to use more boiled water than you think is necessary, get it to a boil and put in your noodles, get them to a rolling boil for 3-4 minutes and then turn the heat down to super low and let them sit for about 8-12 more minutes. Test them every couple of minutes. Once they reach al dente texture give them 1-2 more minutes (you can reheat your water at this point if necessary) and then take them out as soon as they've just gone past al dente phase. They will continue to cook to perfection on the plate. They even reheat as leftovers perfectly. My wife HATES GF foods and she eats this product willingly and even uses the elbow variety in her mother's much-demanded family mac-n-cheese recipe. I cannot say enough good things about this product and how it brought noodles back to my dietary options. Price is under $4 for 8 oz box which is peanuts for what you get in quality, enjoyment and peace-of-mind.

New formulation destroyed a once terrific product
I have purchased this product 12 times (by the 12 pack case) over 2 years and absolutely loved it. However this last time a couple of weeks ago I received another case and made a great bolognese sauce to adorn with. The noodles (before even cooking) crumbled apart into tiny pieces by just carefully handling it, so I figured must've been a fluke, damaged in transit or whatever and tried opening another box. Same thing. So I very carefully open a third and put them into boiling water-everything almost instantly crumbled into 1/2" pieces, so I just dumped it all on the compost pile. The product is not old or defective (the best used by date is for 2 years from now on the whole lot). The fact is they just changed the recipe by adding rice to the mixture and have completely ruined what used to be a fine, stand out product. Andean Dream turned into a Nightmare. It was too late for me to return this product by one single day. $50 in the trash. Do not waste your time or hard earned money on this terrible, compromised, failed product. You will be more than disappointed.

Great product
We've eaten this produce for years. It's a staple in our home. It's THE ONLY wheat free spaghetti that cooks like good Italian pasta. It is healthier than traditional wheat pasta because the quinoa gives it a higher protein content, less carbs and it is organic, so you're not getting exposed to GMO wheat (all modern wheat) or the chemical used to farm it.Like most rice pasta it doesn't store well, so it is not good for a pasta salad that you would keep in the fridge. . It will turn hard in the fridge unless you store it in sauce. This doesn't matter though. It tastes so good that you'll eat the whole box every time.
