Excellent Because it's Weber
This rotisserie kit is original equipment Weber, not aftermarket. It is built very well with quality stainless steel components. Easy assembly, and easy to clean. The bracket mounts to the side of the grill with 2 screws and it stays there when not using the rotisserie. Some have complained about the short length of the cord but I am ok with that. A short cord would mean I position my grill too close to the house. I'm ok using an extension cord. Plus a longer cord would just mean higher costs, and winding up a cord to cram back into the box for storage. Weber got it right.

Rotisserie Love!
What a great purchase. Worked wonderfully with our Weber Spirit two burner gas grill. Easy to set up, price point was perfect and the husband is in heaven.

Works, but needs a longer power cord!
Bought this to go with a new Weber Spirit II grill. Never had a rotisserie before (never had a propane grill before....) so I thought I'd go with the company's own product. It does work like it should and produced a very nice pork roast. You do have to take out the grates to use it plus insert an aluminum pan to catch the drippings, but that was no problem. My only real complaint is that the power cord is TOO SHORT!! I installed an outlet on my deck mainly for use with a grill rotisserie, and I have to place the grill very close to the railing to plug it in.... and that's with the cord stretched almost straight. As much as this accessory costs, a longer cord would not decrease the profit by much and would make it easier to use. Yes, I could have used an extension cord.... for the extra 2 feet..... hmmmm.

Excellent addition to your grilling needs
Fits perfectly after installing two screws for the aluminum stand. 115VAC required for the operation of the rotisserie by way of a standard plug. You’ll need to remove your grilling plates but that’s takes just a minute. I would recommend using a large aluminum pan for catching any spills but also for a watered down broth which we also use for baisting. We also got a wireless thermostat to constantly check the internal temp of the meat. So far we have cooked a large chicken and a beef roast and both came out great. Use Weber’s MOM system (medium-off-medium) for temp settings and it was easy to keep a lower and constant grill temp.Yes, well worth it. BtW we ‘Pamed’ the rod.

Does not fit easily into different Weber Grills
I've swithched grills recently (to Weber's Spirit 300x) and my old Weber Rotisserie for Genesis did not fit into my new one!! So I've ordered a specific Spirit-compatible Rotisserie unit, but it did not fit either. The problem is that it was designed not to be universally compatible. I do not know which grill this Rotisserie model fits exactly, but it was not the one I have.People who have designed these devices have made an amature design mistake. The part of the main rod that supposed to be rotating on the side of the grill (where Weber has narrow groove to hold it) is not entirely cyliner. It has square sections on it (>80% of it) that is not allowing the rod to rotate if your grill's size is 1 mm off!! See attached image. Another problem is the main rod consists of two parts that needs to be joined in the middle. My old rod was solid and I did need to worry if it will unscrew in the middle of the grilling.....So, I have to return this "Spirit-compatible" rotisserie item and have to apply my engineering skills to adjust my old unit to my new grill.
