I bought this power supply to replace the failed internal power unit in my mini fridge, and it’s been a perfect fit for the job. This converter works perfectly for powering small car accessories at home. I use it with my compact car vacuum, and it makes it easy to clean drawer bottoms and tight spaces without having to pull out my much heavier main vacuum. This item worked as expected, I had a DC air inflator that I needed to plug into home outlet and this worked great. Just make sure you check device power compatibility requirements before ordering.

i'm giving five stars as this product is as described. plenty of power to run a cb, electric cooler , laptop or any other plug in that would run in a cigarette lighter. the price was great compared to others i seen. not too big or bulky and pretty straight forward on hooking it up. that being said i bought this trying to hook up to my 8w vevor diesel heater and the power draw was too much from the heater that it melted my plug in adapter. the unit was undamaged as it was not only good quality but had a cut off to protect it from further damage. the unit still worked when i went to power my 12v cb and led light sets.

We bought this as a replacement for our Coleman powerchill cooler. The original one stopped working after about 4 years. So far the power cord is working well.

People at Koolatron (powered coolers) said a converter 12v-5-10 amps was fine. Went with this one has had a max output for the chilly bin. Found in the past especially plugged into vehicle, the fridge output was not sufficient to keep contents really cold. The old Koolatron worked all week flawlessly outside the RV as the go to refreshment fridge. Kept remarkably cold! Now back as an RV regular on board for camping.
