Draws you in and keeps you invested
5⭐️2.5🌶️4🎧This single narrator does a good job of voicing the different characters found within, though some of the pronunciations and accents grate at times. The story itself is phenomenal and very plot heavy. It draws you in and keeps you invested in what happens next.

big twists!
This series is just getting better and better. This story has way less romance, but way more action. And more subplots and character POVs. And the twists at the end I was in shock! This book had me feeling all the emotions.

A magical masterpieces
Perfect. Amazing. Magical. This series gets better and better, and I’m blown away with the explosion of imagination, the exhilarating plot, the dizzying array of characters, the fantastical language, and the unforgettable sizzling romance. This continuing story is once more an epic tale, full with battles, twists and turns and incredibly vibrant characters. With the new added multiple POV’s; they were perfectly portrayed, all adding layers to the story, giving interesting side stories to follow within the main story. We get to see new places, characters, and creatures. Not only is it thrilling and well-written, it added a lot more complexity than I'd expected. Both in the characters and the plot. The progression brings about so many new faces, each of them unique in their own way. I loved that this book constantly kept us on our toes, introducing traitors, saviors in wolf’s clothing, and all kinds of new and exciting characters and revelations.Enchanting, clever and masterfully written, this book shattered my expectations and raised itself on a gold pedestal. The masterful way K.A. Tucker weaves this tale together makes for such an amazing read, and I can’t wait to keep going! This book is pure magical perfection, and I'm already daydreaming of getting the next book in my hands.

4/5 ⭐️ 2 🌶️
Such a fun book. I won’t lie, I was a little intimidated jumping back in. LOTS of names I had to refamiliarize myself with. LOTS of POVs to keep track of. But after a few chapters I got into the swing of things. The author does a good job of putting subtle reminders of what’s been transpiring so you aren’t completely lost.Loved the new romance blossoming, but the book ends very open ended so I have no idea what to expect there! That being said I also wish we saw some more romance between Romeria and Zander, but they were busy tearing stuff up. Fulfilling prophecy. All that jazz.Lots of twists and turns and surprises. Just overall well written. I’m a little sad there’s another book because I thought I would have closure this time around, but I will be seeing you again summer of 2024 to find out what happens next 👀

This book had me in a chokehold
I typically don’t write reviews because by the time I read a book it’s got a million of them and nobody’s gonna find this or read it, but this book had me in an an absolute chokehold. I am a big fan of dual POV and this multiple POV book was hard to follow at first, but I became so invested in every character story and perception. There are some characters I wish had a POV so I knew more.My only issue with these books is that the main female character is from 2020 NYC and took way too easily to a life of lantern lights and dresses. She was a thief in the land of technology and pants and isn’t even phased it seems. Also, why are there always flushing toilets in stories with essentially medieval society?I love the growth of all the characters. I love the cliffhanger at the end of the book even though waiting for book 4 is going to test my patience. Clearly, I’ve written nothing about this book that would make anyone want to read it other than to say as a fan of fantasy and romantasy, the take on the supernatural in this book is refreshing and new. You learn the ways of the world at the same time your main character does and that’s new (at least to me it is). I also appreciate the fact that the main characters are not kept apart in the story as a literary trope. There is drama and they do have to find their way back to each other, but it has good purpose.Don’t be put off by the fact that this author has only written and published romance because she is a fantasy writer who has been disguising herself as a romance writer. Read the series.

Islor is in Chaos
A Queen of Thieves & Chaos was one of my most anticipated fantasy novels of 2023 and it totally lived up to the hype.Going into this book I wish I had taken a few moments to review book 2 just to get into the world again but even with that I was drawn back into K.A. Tuckers fantastical realm. There is something about a well built world that helps truly propel the reader into the story. I have been a fan of Tucker since I read her other romance series but this goes beyond. These characters are something else, the magic is unique and there were a few twists that I didn't see coming that were so welcome.I will be honest, the beginning was a little slower for me but did that ever change the further I got into the book. I totally binged it once I got going. The way Tucker weaved the different POVs helped with the intricacy of the plot. And in the end I had many OMG moments which I wasn’t prepared for and now have to wait for book 4 to connect. If you haven’t entered Islor I strongly encourage you to do so. If you like magic, prophecies, destiny, survival, war in kingdoms, mythical creatures and romance along the way then I encourage you to choose this series and the author is Canadian (that is another win).Thank you to Valentine PR and K.A. Tucker for the ARC!

THIS BOOK SERIES IS *MINDBLOWING*
OMG!!!!! I am halfway through this third book AND I AM FREAKING LOVIN' IT!!! the first two books were amazing as well, as they build the plot slowly and then there were series of so many things happening!! However, this book is my favourite of the three. Maybe it is because now everything is moving quick with so many edgy situations and scenarios and another romance blooming!!! love ittt!!!! I highly recommend this series. I love slow sensational burn books where there is character development as I get time to get familiar with the characters!!! All this makes me love it even more (it feels like I know the characters too haha, IYKYK) and the author has a way with words. GO FOR ITTTTTT!!!

A collection of HA HA’s and OMG’s
A perfectly rounded wonderfully revealed collection of comparable references (dare I say GOT, SW) that made me smile each time! Connection curve balls that made me shout out loud. I came late to this story but am impatiently waiting for the final reveal. Please be quick!
