Our middle son asked for walkie-talkies for Christmas, so the search was on for the best sets. I spent weeks studying features and combing through reviews online before settling on these from NXGKET.What drew me to these were the following features:• Comes in a set of three:- We have three children, so one for each was imperative.• Design:- Set comes in three different colours, so each child tends to their own which has kept their play fuss-free. I also love that the colours are solid.• Rechargeable:- I went back and forth over built-in rechargeable batteries vs disposable, but quickly settled on rechargeable because who needs MORE gadgets that requires packs, on packs of disposables. However, my second thought about the rechargeable was how I would coordinate recharging because of lack of USB slot; we have sockets throughout our home, but they are spread over four floors, so not ideal. But, leave it to NXGKET for impeccable forethought — the set came a 3-in-1 charging cable!!! What an awesome surprise! I was excited that I did a low squeal as I plugged them in to charge the on Christmas Eve.• Lastly, functionality:- By now you’ve read all the features. I can attest that the description is spot on! Furthermore, the functions are simple to carry out by our children (5, 7 & 8) and the battery life is incredible! To be honest, I have yet to recharge them since their first full charge (on Christmas Eve) and look at the battery’s level in provided photos (taken last night, 1 Feb.)…and yes, they were used daily over Christmas break and on weekends since they have returned to school.So what more can I say besides I am very pleased with my purchase and I trust that you will be pleased too. So buy them and see for yourselves.

No more shouting up the stairs! Tried on a walk in my village but only got about 100 metres before they didn’t connect back to home. Will try on holiday and see if they work in a less built up area for a longer distance. My son is too young for a phone so these are perfect when he is out playing or in a neighbours so we can keep in tough.Easy to use and a handy light. Great for the price!

Bought as a Christmas gift for my grandson, he absolutely lives the vibrant colours and the range on these is incredible , little difficult to initially understand how to tune in but once done incredible distance range outdoors we have gone up to about 1.1 k so far. Crystal clear output in a non built up area. Recommend highly fun for adult and kids.

Bought the Walkie Talkies for the kids, and we've had a blast using them! They're simple to operate, and the battery life is impressive. The range is good enough for our casual outdoor adventures, and the built-in flashlight comes in handy at night (not the brightest though). Kids enjoy playing with them, and they've been useful during our camping trips. Sound quality is ok, the PPT tone is a little too loud for my liking. It would be better if the tone can be customised. Overall, a great little gadget for both kids and adults. Would recommend.

Do like the look, size, weight and ease of use, quality expected for the price. Only thing is the range we’re questioning versus what’s advertised but haven’t tested enough yet so not much help there but city communication distance seems less.

Great value, brilliant range and dura

Bought these walkie talkies for when the grandkids visit. Amazed at the clarity and the range, both inside and out in the garden. Keeps them amused all day!

These have been worth the money! Easy for kids to use. The channel locking feature is very handy for young kids. They work long distance, which is the main feature I was looking for! The details they give about them are pretty accurate as far as I can tell. Currently, there isn't anything I dislike about them.

My son wanted walkie talkies to use when he would have to get something downstairs while I was upstairs to help him not feel afraid of being alone. These did the trick. We've been using them for a few days now (maybe a total of an hour of use) and the batteries on both units are still showing full charge. They also feel very sturdy which is good considering my son tends to drop things.The walkie talkies are a good size - my son is 10 and is small for his age, but the walkie talkie fits well in his hand and he has no trouble operating it. Attached image is me holding both in one hand.Audio quality is good but sometimes I miss the first word or two when my son talks into his - I told him to wait for a second after holding down the PTT button before he starts talking which has helped but he sometimes forgets. So far we've only used the walkie talkies in the house or one in the house and the other in the driveway, but so far there have been no connection issues after finding a channel that was consistent (the first time I changed them to a different channel and privacy code, half of the communications weren't being received, but then I changed them to another channel and everything seems fine now).The only other issue I've had with these is that the buttons are raised text/icons on a gray rubber material which makes it harder to see them, especially in bad lighting. If the raised text/icons were a different color it would be so much easier to see which button is which at a glance.

Bought this recently from Amazon. We do stay in a 4 bed room home with the kids playing upstairs most of the times. The walkie talkies act an intercom to call the kids and check on them. The range of the device is also very decent as advertised which I believe is around 1.5 mile. Mic and speaker are loud and clear and no distortion was observed. They also come with around 10 different ring tones which I felt was really good. Kids and my family are loving it for them to have a fun time and for us not to make plenty of trips upstairs to call them :)
