I needed something to protect the footrest at the bar of my restaurant, and chose this over metal, and it worked very well. It arrives folded in three, but leaving in in my warm house for a few days removed the creases and made it very pliable. Application was easy, although the backing paper did pull off some of the adhesive, even though I did it carefully and slowly, but not too much. I was very careful cutting the right angles, and it all fitted together with hardly any joins visible. Good product, and I would buy it again.

I used these as edging around our van floor. When I first installed them my miters looked great but after a couple of weeks they now have slight gaps. Maybe I should have popped in a few finish nails to stop it from moving. It sticks to the flooring very good.

I thought the price was the lowest during my search. When they arrived, the pieces were coiled tightly in groups of 4/5 and crammedinto a box. For some reason, I imagine them coming in a 36 inch box nice and straight, so, they were very stiff and refused to unfold, but, turns out I placed them on my living rm radiator and they softened right up and installed beautifully. I had no adhesion problems and so that you know ….they went on painted wooden stair treads. Huge difference using them.I would recommend to family and friends.

Great Product but the Wadded up Mess of a Way they Send it is Terrible!

Out of the packaging they are folded multiple times, so best served by placing stacked on a flat surface with some weight overnight prior to installation. Cleaned steps first, then wiped with rubbing alcohol to improve adhesion of two-sided tape, they stuck extremely well to both rubber tread, and wood facia without issue. In peeling backing, wanted to pull the tape with it when starting, and had backing tear mid-section on one, so pulling backing off parallel to trim is important to avoid tearing. All-in-all job was easy, and very pleased with product.

Looking at the picture with this product, it appears to be a rigid stair nose which is why I choose the product vs similar ones. It actually arrived in a roll and was so wrinkled that it couldn’t properly be installed as the material wouldn’t flatten out so the glue could stick.

I think it is a great idea. I needed to use my Brad nail gun to make it stick. The adhesive is lacking.
