Elite Sports BJJ GI for Men IBJJF Kimono BJJ Jiujitsu GIS W/Preshrunk Fabric & Free Belt

I'm 4'11" and weight about 125-130 lbs. This is my first elite gi purchase with the 2022 sizing. I got myself an A1 based on the size chart. The gi runs a little bit bigger than their 2020 A0 but smaller than their 2020 A1 cuts. This gi cut is extremely light weight with durable stitching. The new cut is a little wider than their previous ones which allows more mobility and range of motion when training. As a small grappler I wish the sleeves and pants legs were a bit shorter, but this length doesn't impede training in any way.

I am a 5'2" woman and weigh about 135 lbs -- this puts me squarely in their A1 size on the chart, but I ordered it and it was far too big. The top was super long, the sleeves and pants went down too far, and the shoulders were gigantic! (To be fair, I do have small shoulders, but I was still surprised at how poorly it fit.) I was afraid to order the A0 as I read one review from someone who said that the A0 came with elastic waist pants. I took the risk anyway, and am happy to report that the pants are normal, adult gi pants. They tie at the waist like all the other sizes -- no elastic anywhere! The A0 fits me beautifully. The top doesn't close super tightly, but it does close, and that's no big deal anyway, because the belt holds it shut. A word about the belt -- the belt that came with the A0 is very small. It may not fit you, depending on how you are proportioned. I am 7 months postpartum and will have to go up a belt size. Maybe when I lose this last ten lbs that my son bequeathed to me, I'll fit into the A0 belt, but it seems really small!

When I saw this gorgeous, grey gi online, I knew I had to have it. The green accents really make this Gi stand out and unique. Aside from the aesthetically pleasing gi, it is made out of strong threading and very flexible! As a female, the pants fit great and are not too baggy, as to provide too much cloth for those crazy grips. This gi is light, gorgeous, and functional!
