Nice instruction sheet for the simple assembly. Good packaging. Took me about five minutes a light, including assembly, disassembly for the old light, and moving the ladder around. I replaced ten lights today in a 25 year old home and it looks nice and modern and I love the color and brightness choices. This model is really easy to switch the setting of you change your mind. I'm very happy. In most of the house I have them in places where I can't really put a dimmer switch. But I do have them in a bedroom with a dimmer and they work great in both.

Light itself was fine. What failed were the small screws that were required to hold the wire spring holders in place. Package came with lights, screws, and spring wires. Because these are sold as 5 or 6 inch lights you have to attach the "spring wires" with small screws. These failed twice in less than half of the lights. It was a real pain trying to attach the holders with the tiny screws, just to have the darn screws break off while trying tighten the screw down so the spring wire wouldn't wiggle. Decided to return after second screw broke. Not worth the time or effort. See attached pictures. Was using a hand held screwdriver, not a drill.

These lights are very nice. I gave them 4 stars because the screws that come with them are of poor quality. several of them broke off in the fixture. I bought enough to do my entire house so now I will have to rig something to be able to use them. I also had to modify the shape of the springs to fit into the cans. Having sed all that let me say that the lights are great.

It took less than a minute to install them as replacement to a broken light.

This has been my third order of lights with the first two being the adjustable color temperature, in a blue box and they were completely fine. After being fully confident that I had the correct temperature match with other light fixtures in the building, I chose the cool temp pack which was a few dollars cheaper, and came in a brown box. The assembly doesn't bother me much as others. I just put some music on and assemble all 12 so I have them ready for quick change outs. and the supplied spring clips definitely hold the light flush with the ceiling unlike others that have commented..... but this batch is the first where the screws are absolutely worthless like others have mentioned. Instead of doing a return (Amazon will probably send this straight to the landfill) I will drill out what is now stuck in the housing and go to the hardware store for washer or flanged head screws. Going forward, I will just toss the provided screw packs in my scrap metal pile... unless if I go back to the adjustable temp in the blue box to see if different boxes were given different quality screws. based on the reviews, it seems to be a batch issue.

You know they're cheap.But they look great!Put a lil oil on screw before putting together
