I ordered the half white half red marker package. I couldn’t get the pens to write as designed. The ink came out in blobs from side wall not felt tip. I really wanted to accent my tire lettering with these colors, so I tried several different pen hacks just to get ink out to apply to tire. It took me hours, several applications, several different tools, a straight blade, q-tips, applicators, etc. this took a tremendous amount of determination and PATIENCE!! Two tires took about 4 hrs, so I split up the work into 2 days. I had to go over the white color several times just to get complete coverage without showing streaks. A single application blends into tire and color shows like gray, thus reason for many applications. The red was even more work and is not vibrant, it will also take many applications to get it to show well. This was my experience with this product. It was not a product that is to be used as directed or expected. I may look for a different manufacturer for the red color marker. The ink is oil based also, which may be another reason not easy application.

Beware, marker's ink feels super watery. Bought 4 red/4 white and 1 pen didn't cover 1 whole tire. Had to use Paint Thinner to remove it. The amount of ink is probably just 1/4 of the pen if it is even that amount. I dump them on a small tray and use the marker to dab the ink then write on the tire. I have enough to just outline the letters. Would be nice if the ink is a little thicker and at least 3/4 the amount of the pen. Does the job if you're just outlining the letters. Otherwise, buy more.

They do work. But be careful as some pens will dump heavy paint at once. And stick to one color, trying to use two on single letter will cause colors to bleed together. So I had to coat back over with a single color. Only recommend doing with tire laid flat on level surface. You’ll never get it right vertically mounted on a car.

I was hoping these would make my tires stand out, but the look ended up being disappointing. I would recommend removing tires before writing on them with these. Gravity will cause the ink to run down if still on the vehicle. At least while on their side, the ink doesn't run as much.My large truck tires have so much writing, trying to cover the lettering for one used 4 of the 5 white and 2 of the 5 red pens. The result was mixed, and did't look like stock tire lettering. It looked like crayon on wood, very spotty. Maybe another coat would help, but who wants to use 10+ pens on a single tire. Didn't even try the other tires due to lack of further pens and the results of the first tire being so poor. 2 stars

Waste of money, one marker did one sloppy letter on my tire and was empty after.
