Sony walkman zx707 within adequate for music
Its price tag is too much than it's built quality, whereas no charger provided and no such protectionfor it. Sound quality has no bass

Awesome sound..Punchy bass..I didn't use head phones or buds..I have connected the device with Yamaha RN 606 A network player using 3.5 mm mini stereo jack to RCA cable..Speaker KEF LS50..Audio cables CHORD..Sounds far better than my previous DAP and my phone..Supports almost all the available HI RES formats including MQA,DSD etc..Especially the downloaded HI RES songs were terrific indeed..Moreover it is the one of the latest in the market unlike other pricier DAPs.Launched in India during global launch which is a rare thing..

Get a high end smartphone instead.
High end smartphones are using similar chips as used in such devices theses days. It's better to get a high end smartphone instead. If you want to hear on high impedance professional headphones then you would be better of investing on a dedicated professional headophone amplifier instead. The Sony player is a jack of all trades and is ok if you want something portable but you want notice a huge improvement in sound quality over an iPhone.
