Add it to Tuya smart life app, Create account on Tuya and create a project(free), install TUYa Local (3.5) in home assistant,Link Tuya web with Tuya App. Add a 9v Solar panel/Battery(sold for wildlife cams) and boom you have a solar charged water monitor that works in HASS.. Get AI to write you some manual cards and helpers for Day/Week USE, create triggers for your well. Boom you have the best stuff that nobody sells! Addition tip, if wifi range is crap, this has a standard wifi board and accessible Antenna connection, therefore you can easily switch out the internal antenna for a boosted extenal.

For some reason this device demands access to your network to connect, even though it has bluetooth. My network is 5GHz because I live in the new century. The app will only connect to 2.5GHz networks. Useless to me, and I wish they had made it more obvious before I wasted my money. At least I found this out before drilling a hole in my tank.

I love gadgets and this company has all kinds of other addons to monitor. this is a cool way to measure water levels. this is a sonar system but you have to set the offset which is easy and it only read in percentages. (100% is HI. 0% is low) I put one on my boat Dock on the lake I live on because if flocculates so much. it can be set up to monitor creeks, rivers, basements. anything you want to measure, solid or liquid. Great WiFi connection 5G water proof but I have mine covered

Excellent, it works as described and measures accurately. The main difficulty is with tanks buried or enclosed in concrete or iron, as the Wi-Fi signal is blocked and makes monitoring from my device difficult. With patience, it reconnects and works perfectly.

I'm using this for water tanks. I needed a few of these units, so I bought one to see how dependable it was. It has exceeded my expectations, so I'm buying more for my other tanks. Installation was easy. App download was seamless. Wifi pairing is easy as it should be. I mention this because that is not always the case for all devices that need to be paired. App connection uptime is not perfect, but it is probably over 95%. I reached out to the seller which is Amazon says is the manufacturer. They responded quickly and addressed my question, so I am happy with that.

This was very easy to install and worked extremely well. For about 6 months. Then it just quit working. So the price works out to be about $10 a month if I just keep buying a new one every six months. I'm trying to decide if it's worth $10 a month or if I should go back to climbing my stairs, setting up a ladder, climbing the ladder and looking inside my tank every time I wonder how much water I have.

This is the second meter in 2 months that water ruined. The first one i thought maybe i didn't screw the cap down tight enough. Second one i definitely screwed down tight. Install went great, device worked great, then it rained. The twist on cap and grommet do not keep water out. Both water meters got ruin from rain intrusion. Over $100 wasted.

I didn't have nor could I find the exact size hole cutter for this in my local hardware, however, I used one of those adjustable size hole cutters that people would normally use to cut gypsum and it worked fine. When boring the hole in my own tank, I made the mistake of boring it in the middle of my tank and that meant that the adapter's plug was a bit tight. Not a complaint, just something to look out for. Update: After using it for some months, I feel as though they can improve the alerting system to only send an alert if it wasn't sent in the past x-minutes. The reason is because when the water is refilling and splashing about, it can get a little inaccurate and that means that your alert can get triggered several times per minute. This inevitably leads to you disabling the alert.

Funciona Excelente!! 👌 y es muy amigable la APP en el Cel para visualizar el nivel de mi tinaco desde cualquier sitio. Para resolver problema de señal acerqué un reptidor wifi, pero la sorpresa fué que en una tormenta inédita muy intensa, se le metió el agua al circuito electrónico y dejó de funcionar, pero el proveedor me dió Excelente apoyo para solucionarlo; el nuevo lo protegeré contra la lluvia, absolutamente recomendable.

I needed a wireless liquid level gauge for my 55gallons RO water tank this thing works perfectly for that. Super simple to setup and ajust to your tank parameters. Important to note from what i have seen this sensor will work up to a tank depth of 3 meters (it does not let you set up the tank depth to more than that in the app) I also tested the accuracy and i am impressed! It's actually accurate to the centimeter if tuned properly! It's my first day using it I will update if things change overtime but so far so good!

la instalación y configuración es fácil y rápida, sin embargo el sensor es poco confiable, presenta variaciones a los largo del día sin que haya consumo de agua, por más que intente mover la configuración siempre marca un nivel diferente del real. En definitiva no lo compraría otra vez.

Sensor works well enough but my issue is the app. They want a stupid amount per month to run the app and when you don't bite, they drop price to entice you but why not say you need to buy an app to USE the sensor. As soon as you drop the app, the sensor becomes a brick. 80 bucks down the toilet. DID NOT expect to have to pay a monthly fee to use this device that I might check couple times a year.

Tengo varias semanas que lo instale y ha funcionado de maravilla, la instalación es relativamente sencilla, hay que hacer un agujero de 3 pulgadas en la tapa del tanque y hacerlo en una zona donde no obstruya nada hacia el fondo del agua, el agujero lo puedes hacer con un kit de brocas para hacer agujeros para taladro, también debes tener un contacto de energía cerca para conectar el sensor, esto puede ser un problema para algunos pero en mi caso tengo una cisterna con algunas maquinas por lo cual ya tenía un contacto de energía disponible cerca del tanque. En cuanto a funcionalidades es una chulada, el sensor se conecta al wifi y mediante la app de Tuya / Smart Life tienes acceso a diferentes funciones, puedes ver en tiempo real la cantidad de agua en el tanque asi como la variación del nivel de agua durante días, meses y años, pero la función más interesante es que puedes configurar que el sensor te envié notificaciones a tu teléfono cuando el nivel de agua baja a determinada cantidad, esta función es clave para mí ya que en mi ciudad son muy constantes los cortes de agua y en el momento que el sensor detecte que la cisterna baja a cierto porcentaje entonces me envía una notificación para avisarme y asi me doy cuenta que han cortado el agua y entonces debemos administrarla más cuidadosamente revisando el nivel de agua que tenemos disponible en la cisterna mediante la app, anteriormente no me daría cuenta que cortaron el agua hasta que ya no tuviera o bien tendría que estar abriendo y cerrando la tapa de la cisterna para ver el nivel físicamente lo cual no es nada practico, además el sensor también me puede enviar una notificación cuando sube el nivel y de esta forma ya sé que ha regresado el agua, todo esto desde la comodidad de mi teléfono. Ya tengo experiencia con algunos otros sensores ultrasónicos para medir tanques de agua y este ha sido el mejor sin duda, los otro sensores tienen un gran problema y es que irónicamente no aguantan la humedad después de cierto tiempo y van a dejar de funcionar tarde que temprano, por otro lado tienes que estar al pendiente del receptor para saber si ha bajado el nivel del agua y cómo funcionan con baterías el nivel que sale no es en tiempo real si no que cada cierto tiempo se conecta para reportar el nivel de agua lo cual no es lo ideal. En cuanto a la resistencia a la humedad aparentemente cuenta con certificación IP65 lo cual significa que no debería tener ningún problema en este tema, espero asi sea y en caso que no actualizare mi review, pero en este momento todo sigue funcionando perfectamente, otro punto importante es que la potencia del wifi es buena, mi cisterna tiene tapa de metal y la señal no tiene problemas para llegar al ruteador de mi casa. En resumidas cuentas lo recomiendo totalmente, el único pero que le podrían es el tema que hay que tener un contacto de energía cerca del tanque y no funciona con baterías, en mi caso no es problema pero seguramente para mucha gente que lo quiera utilizar para ponerlo en un tinaco va a batallar con esto, tal vez se pueda conectar a un powerbank con un adaptador o bien tener que cablear con extensiones, mi sugerencia para el fabricante seria que sacaran una versión que funcionara también con baterías y dentro de la misma app pudieras ver el nivel de la batería y que te enviara una notificación cuando ya le quedara poca carga. ACTUALIZACION 8 JULIO 2024 A casi un año de estarlo usando puedo reportar que el sensor sigue funcionando sin ningún problema, las mediciones son muy precisas y las notificaciones llegan de inmediato, por otro lado he visto que ahora existe una versión que trae un pequeño panel solar lo cual resuelve el inconveniente de necesitar un contacto de energia cerca del tanque, de esta forma ya lo puedes instalar en cualquier tipo de tanque como un tinaco más facilmente. ACTUALIZACION 21 JULIO 2025 Despues de casi 2 años lamento informar que el sensor dejo de hacer las mediciones correctamente, el dispositivo sigue activado y se detecta en la app pero las mediciones saltan aleatoriamente por ejemplo de 100% a 21%, de 21% a 43%, de 43% a 90% y asi con valores aleatorios, intente limpiar los sensores metalicos como lo recomendo otro usuario y funciono bien un par de dias pero despues volvio a pasar lo mismo, lo volvi a limpiar y duro otro par de dias, hasta que de plano ya aunque lo limpiara seguia sin marcar correctamente la medicion, la verdad no se que haya pasado ya que el tema de la humedad no deberia ser problema, tal vez algun factor externo como el clima que es muy caliente en mi ciudad haya afectado el funcionamiento del sensor y no sea un problema de fabrica o simplemente yo termine por dañarlo al estarlo limpiando constantemente, la verdad estaba muy contento con este sensor por lo que decidi comprar otro (ahora viene en color blanco), me acaba de llegar y ya lo instale, ahora si las mediciones nuevamente son correctas, espero que por lo menos me dure otros 2 años.
