The Filmmaker Says: Quotes, Quips, and Words of Wisdom Hardcover – October 15, 2013

I absolutely love and adore this book! I bought the Kindle version because it was cheaper than the paperback, and I was a little skeptical of how good it would be, now as a budding filmmaker myself I'm always on the lookout for good inspirational film literature. I bought this book and felt like a took a class with the Masters of film and I learned so much! That was the excellent part I mentioned at the heading! The saddening part was that it was over to quickly! I read it in one sitting in less than an hour.. now don't let that dissaude you from purchasing because the book is deep and a good reference tool I plan to go back and re-read this book to suck all of the nutrients of knowledge out of it for my own work! And yes I'm going to buy the paperback version as well! And I hope they make another volume! I'd love it

Bought for my very smart kiddo who is hard to buy and this book is a main stay with them in their space. Great little read and highly recommend.

If you want something fun to read that will inspire you, get this book. There are quotes in there that I will remember for the rest of my career in filmmaking.

I bought this book for my grandson (a film making student) who has produced two films so far that were selected for the at Pasadena City College film festival. He loves the book!
