This is a good brand and I decided to switch from the brand that I usually buy. Plant sterols are effective for a variety of health issues- do your research. Easy to swallow, flavorless (I like the gel caps!) and a great price for the dosage.

Been taking these Phytosterol Complex softgels for a few months now, and I'm happy with them. They're easy to swallow and seem to be helping keep my cholesterol levels in check. I always feel better knowing I'm taking steps to support my heart health.

well I tried it with also CholestOff and my number went down 50 points but I did get a lot of leg pain so I stopped taking them. But then I just took Cholestoff and now I have a UTI.

I bought this product to reduce some points on my cholesterol. I am a thin male but through heredity I have a high cholesterol count. I have been eating healthy for decades. Although, maybe at the low spectrum of aerobic exercise, which I have procrastinated to improve for years. I do still go to punk, metal shows and walk sometimes for hours but not all the time. I have supplemented for decades and find it has improve my health and over life. I take two of the puritans pride now every morning with breakfast for about a month. I will know in the summer when I get my blood work if the product has lowered my cholesterol. I hope it does because I don't want to go on pharmaceuticals again. I will continue to buy this product in hopes of change. From what I know now, I do recommend puritans pride. Thanks!

I like these supplements. They are very easy to swallow, and do not float up into my esophagus. Like some other supplements tend to do. I hope they will have a beneficial effect on my cholesterol levels. They did arrive damage, but the seal was not broken, so I did not hesitate to take them. The damage to the packaging has nothing to do with the product; rather the process of shipping. So I’m still getting these five stars.

I have been taking plant sterols a long time now and they REALLY work as per my blood tests. I loved the price on this Puritans Pride Phytosterol Complex. So this may not be fair to the brand...they may actually work. What got me was HOW much gelatin they seem to use. I cut one pill open and there was like a TINY TINY bit of liquid inside...the rest was all that yak gelatin. The pills also didn't dissolve in water I think it was over 1/2 hour. My usual brands that have shown BIG results in my blood work were Swanson..which is maybe the best price per pill but almost always out of stock...Now brand has worked for me too. As to that consumer report type site that reviews supplements...they gave Cholestoff Plus as the best in this category.. In any case being I didn't use more than ten of these Puritans Pride Phytosterol Complex pills maybe this review is not so fair..but for sure they use excessive gelatin for each pill and inside there's almost nothing there...That's the story as I see it. These MAY be effective....but I'm not sure how, with so little actual sterol material IT seems in each pill. TOO much gelatin!!!

My cholesterol has been elevated enough to get a red flag in my lab reports. After 6 months of monitoring and slight change of diet ( I eat healthy and get moderate exercise and am very active) cholesterol was still inching up. So, I introduced this supplement. My Dr said it wouldn’t hurt, but she felt diet and exercise was the only true fix. Well, after 2 months I had my bloodwork done again and I am just where I need to be. In fact, my Dr came in excited and gave me a high 5, praising me for my hard work! THIS phytosterol complex did all the work, I just had to make sure I took it as directed❤️❤️

Before I started taking this, in November 2021 my total cholesterol was 224, hdl 31 and ldl 165. Since I have been taking these for a month coupled with diet and exercise, I have seen some improvement. My lab results showed total cholesterol 209 (dwn 15), hdl 31 (same) and ldl 152 (dwn 13). I still need to work harder on getting down the numbers to the required level. I request that thd doctor submit an order to get retested in 3 months time. Let's see what happen.
