I am a longtime runner so I have used a LOT of different anti-chafing remedies. This is one of the best I’ve found. It is easy to apply, like a stick of deodorant, you don’t need a lot and it doesn’t leave you feeling super greasy. But it works really well. I use it between my legs, on the inside of my arms, on my back where my shorts waistband rubs, even under my bra strap where I chafe sometimes. Of course it’s mostly useful in hot weather. I understand this was made originally by surfers and I will say it works great for the beach, when we have multiple days with the kiddos in and out of sand and water, I have them put it on in the morning, mostly on the inside of their legs where the suits rub and it helps a lot. Sometimes they put it on the tops of their feet so they won’t rub against their shoes when they’re a bit sandy (put it on clean skin before the sand of course!). I know this is a bit pricey but it’s worth it!

great product use it every day so I don't get heat rash and haven't had any since using this product

I have used this product for YEARS as a runner. 10 marathons and over 20 half marathons under my belt, as well as the occasional fun run and obstacle course race. The races I’ve run before becoming acquainted with this product, or have forgotten its application will last in my brain for years to come. Chafing, itchy, painful, burning. These are some of the words that come to mind after 26.2 miles of skin on skin, salty misery. The other words are more colorful, but I don’t think this review could get published if I used them… anyway, this product has saved my tender lady bits, my thighs, and near my under arm where it rubs my side, and all the sweat that started out as a natural lubricant becomes an abrasive liquid searing off the top two layers of skin. Now I’m a pretty fit, and lean lady on the best of times. In the worst of times, I am a giant, pregnant monster eating her weight’s worth of ice cream on the daily. So I bought this product for my inner thighs where at least half of all that ice cream was stored. I mean, they recommend you gain 25-30 pounds for a singleton pregnancy. I gained about 55-60 because I don’t phone in on my obligations. My first baby was less than 7lbs, the second 7lbs on the nose. I don’t know why I gained so much weight, but I apparently use carrying a human around as an excuse to shovel food into my face like Jabba the Hut on Christmas Day while enjoying a carnival cruise buffet. Let that image sink into your mind. Yeah, now imagine that I ate Jabba the Hut and you’re close to what I became while “with child”. So yeah, body glide saved me much discomfort during my delicate condition, and I’m looking forward to using a boat-load more in my efforts to get back to my marathon body. Which shouldn’t take long. I mean, toddlers are fast! And their stamina? It’s no joke. If you’re training for a marathon, I highly recommend a toddler as your coach, and a boat-load of body glide.
