This chair is amazing at almost any price!
I've used amazon for years and this is my first review because this chair warrants it. I'm having a back procedure followed by a week or so of recovery so I bought this thinking; at this price I can get rid of it after recovery. Instead it looks, feels and operates as though it was much more expensive. The fabric is breathable and looks, fells like leather. We put it next to our $10k soft grey leather sofa set and it matches. It came as two easy to assemble pieces. Since I have a back issue my wife opened the 2 boxes and assembled it in 20 min.I'm 185 lbs and 6ft. It lifts me without hesitation.. The only motorized part I see is an accessible plunger with a motor. It's the same one we have in our camper to lift our bed. It would cost about $100 if it needed replacement. I also prefer a system where the entire chair rises rather than just the seat. That's just my preference. It doesn't have heat or massage but I didn't need that. I know the same product can vary in terms of parts and delivery but for me this was money well spent.Good LuckKevin

Very comfortable and good buy
I love this chair and so happy it arrived early in time for my recovery from shoulder surgery. With my right arm in an immobilizer sling, there was no way I could operate my old recliner. Doctors recommended sleeping in a recliner after returning home from the hospital. It is quiet and cozy. The small size is perfect for my 136 pound 5 foot 8 tall body. My husband found it simple to assemble except that he couldn't find the other half of the power cord which was in a plain brown box that got pushed out of the way. I like it so much that we may buy another for my husband.

Review of lift chairs
I had an issue with my order and had immediate response from the seller when I contacted them. An entire new chair was shipped immediately and I was told to keep the original one and use it if I wanted to. To be clear there was nothing wrong with the chair. It just came in two different colors. The base was one color and the rest of the chair was another. I had a brand new chair shipped immediately. I've never had such fast response from anyone before. This was the best customer service I've ever had to deal with. I highly recommend this company. The chairs are very comfortable, pretty, soft material, and very easy to use for my parents who are older. Thank you again!

Have had it about a month and having a problem
The little bity FedEx gal delivered it and brought it into the house, dad and I put it together in about 15 minutes tops, only looked at the directions once I think. It is soft and well made. For $1000 less that what we saw at the store in town, it is a bargain. At 87 years old we don't need one to last upteen years, although it may. But only had it a short time and he says it has dropped him twice. In fact, we have only had it a month and he only weighs 140 lbs so not like he is supper heavy.

Comfy
So far, so good. While there are no assembly instructions, putting the chairs two pieces together was no problem. It seems nice and supportive. The blue color is very pretty. I would say this chair is definitely for a smaller person. I'm 5'2, 130 lbs. and my feet just touch the ground when seated, and don't hang off the end when reclined. The seat is not very wide, which suits me, but I suggest checking the measurements if you want a roomier seat. The controls work fine, quietly and smoothly, but a little slow perhaps. Not a big deal though.

Helped with surgical recovery
For the price point, this is a great recliner. It helped me a great deal after spine surgery to sit comfortably without sinking in too much, and it is helpful to get up and down. You will need 2 able bodied people to set up. Comes in 2 very large boxes. Assembly was very straightforward, just slide pieces together. Looks nice, too.

Great value!
Easy to assemble, soft fabric, sturdy, quiet operation. This chair is full size but the support cushions are meant to support a smaller person. So perfect for my mom without having to add extra pillows around her to prop her up. If your loved one is a big person, this will be too narrow in the seat area.Customer service is very helpful. We are pleased!

More difficult to assemble than I thought
Harder to assemble than instruction booklet said (shipped in four pieces, not base and back as expected) Maybe flair the tops of the arm brackets a bit.
