Bought this for making various concentrations of NaOH for garage chemistry experiments. It's nice that they dissolve slowly so I can just add all of my measured amount to the water at once without having to worry about the rapid temperature increase.For my use though, its unnecessary. I purchased 2.5lbs of "food grade" sodium hydroxide for the same price as 100 grams of this stuff and it works just as well. Won't be buying this item again, but by no means is it a bad product.

Great product. I'm a crafter and I used it to make my homemade soaps. Great price for the value. The do recommend it for crafting. When using it for crafting please make sure you were safely equipment.

As described. I use this to clean amphoteric metals off machine tools.100 g goes a long way. Works great.

Used a whole bottle of this pan grade comping to clean my oven. Happy it worked as I was quite frustrated with all other attempts. Surprised it took a high concentration to execute the task effectively. Safety googles, rubber gloves, & N95 mask and sodium hydroxide. Science bitchez!!!!111

Are use this product to make a type of dye. In order to get the right colors I mix the powder for the dye with the blocking agent. I then had to add vinegar to raise the pH to three, then I begin to add this product until I had a pH of 12. I was able to get the exact color that I need that wasNeeded. It was so beautiful that I realized that there was in fact a God and that everything will be all right. For the rest of my life I’ll never forget how beautiful it was.

Mass spectrometry shows this is indeed, lab grade.
