Great look for cheap price
The product was cheap yet very high quality. The only complaint is that it's not quite sturdy

Very nice for the price.
Son loved it for his Halloween costume. He of course broke the spike off at a party, but with superglue it is solid again. Also be careful with the chin strap, it fits on the helmut lugs very loosely. But, it survived the night of trick-or-treating. Son happy!One issue however was shipping -- it arrived with some heavy items, loose in the box together. It could have been easily damaged. I suggest ordering it in a separate shipment -- which I did, but Amazon combined it with my monthly subscription order. Grrr. So be careful.

Warmth? It's a plastic hat.
My son begged me to buy this, and I did. Then I panicked that maybe I purchased him some kind of inappropriate historical piece of head wear. I googled it, and it seems to be fine though. It's about as expected for a cheap, plastic hat off. He did have to reglue the spike thing or whatever it's called on it because his broke off with minimal wear (he might wear it regularly in his room though, idk, because I'm not going in there, it's gross). Lower your bar and you won't be disappointed.

Surprisingly good quality given the very low cost
Looks very similar to the family helmet I have. Surprisingly good quality given the very low cost. I bought this to wear at bars when World Cup season arrives as yelling at the TV in German wasn't enough. There were several unintended effects about which I must warn you. First I can no longer sing the German national anthem, the third stanza of Das Deutschlandlied. I try but all that comes out is Heil dir im Siegerkranz. Second I must keep a greater distance when walking behind some else. My legs now rise much higher when walking, nearly kicking the person in front of me, so I must leave proper spacing as if in some sort of drill or parade. Finally I find myself searching for my Mauser. I don't own a Mauser, or at least I don't think I do, but occasionally I find myself frantically looking everywhere for it. I live in a small apartment in NYC so it shouldn't be hard to find if it is there, which it shouldn't be as I don't own a firearm, but perhaps if I look again.

Good for a gag but that’s about it.
Good thing it was cheap, bc it’s pretty cheap craftsmanship. Not worth the money even then. Would not recommend. Packaging came damaged. Rim of hat was chipped and even after putting on the spike the piece that holds it, it fell off. Would have returned it if I didn’t need it the next day for an activity in my classroom.
