Discraft 175 g Ultra-Star Sport Disc - Ultimate Frisbee Competition Specification, Suitable for All Levels of Game, Long and Stable Flights

I bought this frisbee as a replacement for a well-used and thoroughly battered one, with the hopes that this one would prove to stand the test of time. As it happened this frisbee proved to be far superior and I don't think I'll ever be able to go back to using a flimsy normal one. I was initially skeptical about the price, but these concerns were swept aside when it arrived and I could marvel at its quality when compared to a bog-standard throwing disc. This is quite heavy in comparison with common cheaper frisbees, but flies beautifully, and the smooth edges mean it doesn't hurt your fingers to throw forehand, like some do. The glow feature charges well when left by a lamp or in the sun and retains a reasonable luminosity for a few hours, but it takes much longer to fade completely, meaning that it can be used to play in darker conditions as well as during the day. It's worth mentioning that this is the standard weight and size for use in Ultimate Frisbee, so if it is a sport you are interested in, accept nothing less as this is ideal for learning to play with. Best frisbee I've ever had. Perfect weight. A bit pricey, but worth the extra pennies. Solid build, great quality. I got the luminous one, but it doesn't glow that much so don't expect a flying glowing saucer. It bearly glows, but the kids find it a bit of fun to play with at night.

Flies brilliantly, and glows in the dark...what more do you want? Love it! This is an official weight disc made of a soft plastic, it's nothing like the cheap ones you'll find by the seaside. With soft edges and nice set of rings for the thumb to push on this really is a disk that flies well. If you want to get better at the sport, spend some money and get a nice Discraft 175g disk, they rule!

The only issue of this perfect Frisbee is that in the drunk dark you are silly. Trees don't glow.great ftisbee

Good frisbee, tricky to get it to fly far and straight but it looked great glowing at night. Dog thought it was the best thing ever. Does not float, anyone on the Kentish coast should keep an eye out for this, should wash up on the beach at some point.

Sturdy, quality product. The glow in the dark aspect needs a lot of natural daylight for it to actually glow in the dark at night/early morning. I loved this so much I bought a yellow one too. My dog's favourite toy and my favourite game to play with him. He is a rough and tumble young dog and this frisbee stands up to his "enthusiasm" when playing with it. Class product.

Sadly glow in the dark effect does not last long at all, ended up having to put a torch to it every 5 mins to be able to see it in the dark. Slightly more flexible than the normal versions but hardly different.

This is a DECENT frisbee. Solid, and cuts through the air beautifully. Although we havent taken it out for a night throw i walked past it poking out of a drawer with the lights out the other day, and yeah, IT GLOWS. alot. we love it except the smaller one who failed to catch it and caught one in the face, he says he does like it tho. Previously we had a cheap nasty frisbee that just shattered. not anymore.

I have an older version of this and the glow in the dark works as represented. this one seems to be just as functional.

Durch einen Arbeitskollegen habe ich angefangen letztes Jahr Frisbee zu spielen. Da mein anderes Frisbee der gleichen Marke inzwischen schon deutlich in Mitleidenschaft gezogen wurde, habe ich mir die Ultrastar Frisbeescheibe gekauft. Nach mehreren Frisbee-Sessions mit Freunden und Arbeitskollegen, bin ich mir sicher, dass dieser Frisbee perfekt für jedermann ist. Die Scheibe lässt sich perfekt auf einem Fingernagel spinnen, ist super zu greifen und fliegt super. Damit ist sie auch perfekt geeignet für einige Freestyle-Sessions. Leider konnte ich allerdings noch kein Ultimate-Frisbee damit austesten. Man kann das Frisbee perfekt bei Dunkelheit sehen, womit diese sich auch problemlos für Frisbee-Spaß am späten Abend bei Dunkelheit eignet. Zudem hat das Frisbee ein super Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Definitiv empfehlenswert.

This disc flies well. I personally prefer a heavier disc (closer to 200g) but this 175g works decently in light wind. The material feels good in the hand with a somewhat silicone-like texture to it. It does not feel cheap at all. The finish is nice and smooth with absolutely no sharp edges. I usually throw forehand and am picky about the lip. I'm happy to report that I have no major complaints about this disc. I chose the glow-in-the-dark version which I think looks best. This is a great disc at a great price. I highly recommend if you're looking for a 175g.
