Economic alternative compared to cost of an OEM replacement. Con: The shield portion lacks precision in the manufacturing process. Had to remove/modify/bend the shield and drilling additional hole to align shield so exhaust port matched muffler exhaust port. The problem is the alignment of the bends of the shielding and spot welding of seams in shield portion of this assembly. The actual muffler portion is fine, and the exhaust manifold aligns perfectly. If your concern is perfect looks, then spend the $$ to purchase OEM. Otherwise this is a viable and economic replacement. In couple years I can afford to replace it again if necessary..

Didn't last 4 months. Second one from conpany. Don't waste your money they don't last a month after the warranty is up

Perfect fit on Honda GX390. The old muffler must have clogged and created too much back pressure for the engine to run and would send flames out of the carb. Changed to this new muffler and the engine started and ran great!

I put this on my gx390. Almost fit great, I had to bore out the holes to get them to fit to the muffler. And it would be super helpful if they threw a couple nuts in there so I didn't have to reuse the old ones.

I find it absolutely stupid that this does not include the hardware required to put it together or install it.

It's nice that the product fits the item it was advertised for but who sells a small engine replacement muffler/manifold without new mounting hardware?If you have a muffler that needs replaced there's a 99.9% chance that the mounting bolts and nuts are junk too.Now I have to postpone my job and go find bolts to put the motor back together.
