Worked great on my 2013 Chevrolet Silverado 1500
Worked great on my 2013 Chevrolet Silverado 1500. The 49.5 mm cap had a good seal to the brake fluid reservoir and held pressure. I was able to pump fluid through my bleeder valves and keep an eye on air bubbles exiting through the bleeder line. I would definitely recommend this kit to anyone looking for one.

Doesn't seal on a Chevrolet Volt: won't pressurize
Air leak at the cap and so won't pressurize on my Chevrolet Volt. I emailed the company, they were very responsive, and sent another one right away. However the second one also leaks. And yes, I made sure the gasket had a smooth side facing out. I even flipped it, but had the same result. Surprisingly, the supervisor who answered my second email then said I ordered the wrong one and only offered 15% refund, suggesting I try to resell the item myself! I'm grateful that Amazon has such easy returns because apparently the company has a skimpy policy themselves.

Very good to for the price
This device worked brilliantly for one man brake bleeding and flushing. I had small issues with sealing at the brake fluid reservoir. Not sure if it was the GM style cap, or quick connect hose. So be sure to put down plenty of rags to avoid fluid leak onto surfaces below. The leak was not severe and only under pressure. The included bleed bottle was a great addition. I used around 15 psi, with periodic pump up, to flush my SS 5th gen Camaro. Worked very well.

Worked Perfect after fixing leaking adapter fitting.
Adapter that attaches to the Master Cylinder leaked at the metal fitting where it screws into the black adapter cap. Unscrewed metal fitting and applied teflon tape. It then worked perfect.

High hopes, but fell short
Had high hopes for this, but sadly, it says it is for GM vehicles and it will not seal on the master cylinder. Perhaps save yourself the trouble if you also have a GM vehicle and just spend the extra coin on the Motive bleeder.

Figure out what set to buy
It's a metric coupler system and master cylinder cap did not fit 2006 Chevy Impala. Why they don't offer a coupler for American and Japanese/European is beyond me. To not off different caps is beyond me. It's been a nightmare with Amazon Delays and all the fine print There are many different sets. American. European. Japanese, etc ..so if your pressure system is japanese(Metric) and your caps are American, then it's a no go. I'm not sure why this sector of automotive doesn't have leadership description, but lesson learned. So I'm not looking forward to adding adapters. I needed to buy a tank/pressure systrm that matches my cap set Is there a metric brake bleeder set/resevoir/pressure system ?

Easy to use
Word of advise. The seal for the pressure cap that goes on the master cylinder, if the seal has a rough look to it then it has to be flipped around, the other side is smooth and thats the sealing side. Otherwise it will leak brake fluid all over. Mine came with the rough side facing the sealing side and it would not seal on the master cylinder reserviour, after flipping the seal its worked like a dream. But overall I can't complain about this, it makes bleeding and flushing brakes a breeze. I pump it up to 15psi and open the first bleeder. Another tip, when bleeding the last caliper start bleeding it until the air is out of the clear drain hose attached to the bleeder, then releave the pressure in the main bottle, pump the brake predal 5 or 6 times, disconnect the quick release from the cap and pump the brake pedal until the fluid is at the MAX line. If you do it in those steps it will not draw air back into the system and you will have a mess free brake bleed/flush process.

Very ROBUST, extremely high quality ! NO ASSISTANT REQUIRED ... YIPPEE The main jug is tough, the pump is smooth, and the gauge is very ROBUST. There is a supplied handle to tighten the lid .. if you have wee girly hands, lol, but it's probably more for removing the lid while under pressure. That handle is very strong too. The hoses are extremely high quality, I don't think they can kink. I just wished the catchment hose was clear, so you could see the bubbles better but I had some clear hose in stock. Technically, they went with the higher quality hose, sooo ... the hoses are opaque, but you can see the bubbles, just not so clearly. During my first test fit/ dry run and pump-up .... I discovered there was initially a little bit of flashing under the rubber gasket in the lid, causing a slow leak-down. Not really an issue, I popped out the durable gasket seal, then smoothed out the flashing, and added a bit of silicone or dielectric grease under the gasket, in the lid. After that .. the seal was a rock solid air tight seal. Note: don't apply pressure, or test the pump with any shoes out, or any brake disassembled ! Ask me how I know ... lol, luckily I thought about it in time ! The catchment bottle can be used to suck some old brake fluid out of the master cylinder, so you are starting with a fresh batch of fluid. Just put your fanger over the breather hole and squeeze in and out. I ordered the screw-on G.M. adapter lid, it was an excellent tight fit, just like you want ! This is a must have brake billed tool. Especially if you have ABS brakes. Personally.. I don't think the vacuum pumps work right, as they could suck air into the other wheel cylinders ... on some older style wheel cylinders. Plus .. a vac style bleeder can only change ounces. With this positive pressure power bleed system ... you are able to completely purge an entire line, in one go !

Bought for late model GM Would not seal against the master cylinder sprayed brake fluid all over paint. Damaged paint and air still in abs system Avoid the headache unless they improve design

This machine is invaluable when doing a complete bleed of brake fluid on all four wheels ! It also can be used to find leaks in your brake system . It’s very portable and easy to understand. It’s only drawback is the tubes where the fluid travel in , they are not clear , they are opaque, meaning it’s difficult to see the fluid and the air in the system , you must have great lighting and 20/20 vision to see the fluid travel . In closing, I recommend the machine for its ability to get the job done , but it would be much better if it was equipped with clear lines ( tubing) !!
