I love this shampoo. I rarely have to bathe a cat but we recently rescued a cat from the pound who came to us malnourished. His coat was pretty rough and his skin was so dry and itchy. He’d already been treated for fleas so the scratching was just his dry skin. We bathed him with this shampoo and now his coat is so clean and soft now. All the white dander is gone and he’s barely scratching at all now. There’s no strong odor from the shampoo. I’m super sensitive to smells, so I wanted a fragrance free shampoo. You can hardly smell anything when using it. After his bath when he was all dry, he smelled very mildly like baby powder. He’s a long haired boy and his fur was easy to brush out afterward. I can’t say enough about how well this shampoo worked for him.

My cat has Inflammatory Bowel Disease, just like humans get. Since he has chronic diarrhea and long fur, he frequently gets poop in his tail. Since cat poop on the covers, or in my lap, is pretty disgusting, there are frequent tail and paw baths using one plastic container to lather and another to rinse. This is not a fun experience for either my cat or me! But this shampoo has no fragrance, and completely washes out even dry excrement . It rinses easily. A great product for an unpleasant task. (My cat does swear at me during the process.)

I’ve bathed my cat with this the shampoo three times because he tends to get smelly and doesn't groom himself well since he’s been sick on and off. This is unscented so he doesn’t seem too bothered by it afterward (although he still doesn’t like getting wet). It definitely leaves his fur feeling softer and cleaner. It helps a little with the staining on his white feet but not entirely (see picture one week post-bath and one day post-dry shampoo- belly is normal white, feet are still dirty white) I just got the dry shampoo and used it on him yesterday after bathing him with the regular shampoo last week (pictures are from today). He’s usually kind of a scrungly kitty and this is the first time his fur has felt somewhat soft like a normal cat! I do feel like the dry shampoo leaves a sort of residue, not quite greasy but dry somehow; but it does seem to dissipate over time.

My cat had a horrible reaction to what we dont know, it was bad enough to be considered to be taken to the animal hospital. I got this first and tried it, the reaction was gone! Amazing shampoo!
