I bought this on the strength of the previous reviews, comparing these with other reviews on shavers with a similar cost. The product has met or exceeded every requirement; it is easy to use, comes with good quality range of attachments, comfortable to hold & manipulate & leaves me feeling as clean shaven as any electric shaver I have owned previously. I am particularly please with the results, as I have sensitive skin which often shows signs of irritation after shaving. While the battery life is a little short, the indication of when a charge is required is clear & charging is reasonably quick. Would heartily recommend this product to anyone who is looking for a smart, versatile shaver without having to pay the premium for a mainstream brand.

I bought this for use as a quick travel shaver, when a wet shave isn't possible. I was pleased pretty early that it gives enough of a close shave that it's a very good stand-in at those times where a wet cut isn't possible. The rotary blades are quite smooth and I haven't had any hairs pulled out, though I do make sure I do a pre-cut when my stubble gets on the long side. The only downside is the little snap out shaver on the back, which is tiny and not very sharp. Overall though I'm pleased with this for the price.

I ordered this shaver after my old braun one, which I had less than a Yr broke. I didn't want to spend a fortune so looked on amazon and came across this one. There were soo many positive reviews, and for less than 25 quid so I decided to take a chance. After using it regularly now for over a week, I can confirm all those reviews to be true. It gives a really close shave for an electric razor, much better than my braun one, the battery life is impressive, as I haven't had to charge it again yet, and it's really easy to clean. Couldn't recommend any more highly. Get one now and don't waste your money on more well known brands

I've wet shaved all my life and was a bit sceptical at using a battery or electric shaver but I wished I had discovered this one before. Not only does it do a really good job, it's quick, comfortable and a cracking price. Again because of the price I thought it may not be as good as other's. I certainly wouldn't pay double the price of this one to try a better known name. After a couple of uses it normally takes less than an hour to completely recharge and cleaning is very easy. I would definitely recommend this product.

I was initially very impressed but after using it almost every day for 10 months I now only get 1 shave out of it before I need to recharge- this is why it’s cheap. You get nowhere near the 60mins advertised even from day one . Initially I. Was able to get around 5 shaves before charging so maybe around 25 mins but now I barely get 7 mins. I imagine I need to throw it away before the end of the year, which actually makes it less cheap because a Philips equivalent for another 10-15 pounds would last years . Update Nov 24: the above is all true but I contacted the seller and they were very responsive and immediately offered to sell a brand new one and did so within 48 hrs. For the price even if it only lasts another 10 months that’s only just short of 2 years, which for the price I’d say it’s worth 3 stars

I had not used an electric shaver for 55 years but lately I cannot stand long enough at the sink to use a wet razor. Looking at the price of top brand shavers I could not believe what I saw. Then I chanced upon the reviews for the low priced ones like this Qhot. At such a low price and with such good reviews I took a chance on spending £20.99 instead of £209.9. I have had the Qhot for less than a day but as soon as I had it out of the box I was hooked. Quiet, light, excellent cutting for face and nostrils. Fantastic. Of course I have to see if it lasts the course but if you, like me, are looking for an electric shaver, I would recommend 'taking a chance' on this Qhot before perhaps needlessly spending a fortune on a 'known' brand.

It was working just fine until it accidentally hit the deck, which loosened the head piece. It does still run but you have to keep the head piece in place using your thumb and fingers, which can be awkward when changing direction. Make sure you buy a shaver with the blade area set into the body, not sitting on a flimsy narrow neck.
