Soft pretty cover is way better than hard rubber. With the cover it doesn’t get hot enough for me. I fill with hot water to warm the bottle some, empty and refill. Works great when I have cold feet when going to bed. I just put it under the covers and put my feet on it.

Absolutely perfect! I have two of the regular ones (thick plastic like inside this one) and it's always too hot and uncomfortable. Bougt 2 of these fort up in Utah mountains when it was super cold in the morning & at night. Boiled water, filled and put on lap while watching critters! So soft that I couldn't stop "petting it." lol. Used it at night and by morning it was still warm and I was able to snuggle with it. Just heaven! It is definietly not as hot with the cover, but lasts a very long time! I got the grey and it's sooooo nice!!

Kinda stiff
My friend has a different brand that cost more (hers was $30) but is way worth the extra $20 over this one. Not comfy at all.
