I'd actually like to be able to buy this in a smaller quantity. I don't love that I have to leave the wormies in a jar of water for like 10 minutes before feeding them to my aquatic frog, but it is what it is. Frogger (cheating death daily!) Loves these things. So much so, I once tried to just drop one into the tank, he went for it, and then almost choked to death. I almost had to do tiny aquatic frog CPR that day. Could you imagine the look on my husband's face if I had to give mouth to mouth to a 1.5" frog?! That would be one tiny prince. But I've gotten off track. Buy these for your aquatic frog, make sure to let them soak, and watch him enjoy!

These are full size blood worms that have been dehydrated. So, probably larger fish ( full size gold fish, for example ) will cobble them up. Very small fish ( tetra ) might have a small problem. Anyway, product is fine. I will be buying more when the can nears empty.

My angelfish have ever only known flake food, so at first they ignored the blood worms. They do need to sit on the water a little bit and soak up some water before your fish can eat them. My angels have learned now that they are food and how to eat them. I suppose if you wanted to go to the trouble you'd put a serving in a cup of water for 5 minutes or so and dump that in the tank so they are ready-to-eat. But my fish figured it out after a couple of weeks. These don't sink very fast if you don't pre-soak them so if your fish aren't top-eaters they will have difficulty.

My fish like them. However, there are a lot of wood shavings in it. Plus side, I found 2 live worms in it. Fish were stoked!
